Oh wow, I didn't expect THIS collab! Congrats Marko! And a second 'WOW' for the special watch collection from Alex & her husband! I never thought that she's so much into watches. At first glance I thought 'okay she just has the money to buy all of this' but the more I've seen pieces like the Frederique Constant or her first Tissot I knew that she really has these pieces for a reason! Instead of just 'throwing down cash everywhere' like she said herself. Great episode & chemistry!

IMO Only Flex and hyped watches. I guess, that’s the difference between people who just buy watches coz they have money and people who actually collect watches for the ‘watch-making’ art. No Lange, No FP, No Vacheron, No JLC. I think watch-collectors would agree and the ‘herd’ would disagree COZ they don’t recognize even a single brand name that I mentioned above 😅. I respect the hard-work and struggle that SuperCar Blondie went through ✊

She is right about Franck Muller (FM). Back in the 2000's FM had a little buzz but it is a brand you buy exclusively to just enjoy. I own a FM now but it is justifiable as the price point was not prohibitive (FOR ME) . The FM she is looking at is NOT justifiable. She made the right choice.

I got to see Blondie occasionally at car events in Newport Beach and greater SoCal. But oddly I don’t remember noticing her watches but that could certainly because I was in straight hyper car drool mode at the time. Great vid and kudos to her, for her channel and content. She has built an amazing personal and media brand.

Brilliant show! One of the best episodes I have seen. A really interesting and amazing collection explained in a really engaging way. Alex appears to stay quite humble - even if some of those watches are insane. The first watch has such a nice story! I am just surprised you didn’t take a stab at an Aussie accent yourself 🤔

Excellent video and awesome collection - the titainium 'Verstappen' Monaco is actually 1 of 500. Got one in my Monaco collection direct from Tag retail, modern re-version of the calibre 11. Well over retail value now - rare for a Tag. Wear mine regularly.
Nice collection. Lots of hyped and investment pieces really apart from the first few. Love the rainbow daytona. Nice talking watches series. She should add a few independent and rare watches in her collection, especially on her channel where she reviews rare concept cars. Love franck muller. My wife gifted me a rare FM on our wedding day which I haven't seen for sale since.

I must say though, I find wealthy people to be quite unimaginative when it comes to watches.
You usually find Rolex, AP, RM and Patek in their collections. (as are most on the table in this video)

Agreed. That collection may be good for investment purposes, but unimaginative as you say. Sure AP and Patek are superb watchmakers, but there is far better craftsmanship out there than Rolex (really just a marketing brand). Would love to have seen some timepieces from say F.P.Journe, H.Moser, Glashutte, A.Lange & Sohne, Vacheron Constantin etc. in Blondie's collection - exquisite, elegant, beautifully crafted innovative movements.. a far more interesting collection imho. No disrespect to Blondie ofc.
