- I try the HEB Carolina Reaper cheese puffs to let you know if they are Hot or Not. I am a big fan of the heat that Carolina reaper peppers are know for. Unfortunately HEB Carolina reaper cheese puffs did not live up to the heat that is associated with the Carolina reaper name. If you have tried these cheese puffs please let me know what you thought of them!

I just purchased today. I had 6, they get hotter the more you eat. They are tasty with a good spicy factor.
Didn't burn too much on the way in. The way out is a different story.

I bought a bag of those at heb a few days ago, they reminded me of the Mexican Quesabritas I used to eat in Mexico in the early 90's. They taste good and I really liked them, but they weren't hot as I was expecting.
I agree, they tasted good but I wanted more heat.
I'm from Mexico, and here we have some snacks called flamin hot cheetos, they taste similar, but honestly it's not spicy at all, maybe it only tastes like Carolina reaper but without capsaicin
They're pretty damn good. And they're pretty mild you're right.
Maybe I got lucky with my bag but these damn things are hot once you start eating a bunch of them!!!
I'm more into the flavor of spicey chips rather than the heat nessarily.
They're pretty good but, i expected way more spicy! Im an experience guy with spicy stuff and yeah they arent spicy

These went away for a bit. I had em back when they first came out and they were fairly mild. The cracker cheese slices are far more spicy but those have things like habanero chunks mixed in. I recently bought a bag and they seemed to have made them a little more hot. Had a little bit of scalp sweat going on with this latest batch.
To be honest I've ate these before and they're more smokie then actually spicy I mean they're spicy you don't get me wrong but they're not something that me personally has to go down a gallon of milk

The other day, a coworker got these and brought them in for me, wasn’t ready to eat them..but other coworkers were forcing me to 😂 😂
They said I couldn’t handle them… I ate one and they were surprised. But what really surprised them..I kept eating one after another with no effect. So, the weird part, they only tasted like cheese puffs…fast forward, a few days later..today.. when I eat then it was a lot spicier. Not sure what it could be. Only thing I can think of is Covid, but I haven’t been around anyone other than coworkers and I could still taste and smell other things..so not sure what was up
But I made some capsaicin extract and brought that in…yea a little drop of that and it’ll burn your hand lol

Hmm did you eat any dairy products before trying them? I know that can sometimes hide the heat for a bit! Extracts are no joke! Even when you build up a tolerance you will always feel the burn from extracts
