- Hi guys! Josie and Jose here taking you through our recent outdoor adventure to the Big Sur area where we camped for two nights in different locations. The views were EPIC! Ever wanted to camp above the clouds?! My brother and his girlfriend also joined the adventure!
Friday night we stayed at the Prewitt Ridge Campground.
Saturday night we stayed at Plaskett Creek Campground.

That road at prewitt keeps getting worse every day. So much fun

Nice video guys! It looks like you arrived there by nightfall but did you went further down/up the trail from the main site to check out other spots?

We passed the sign at the top of Prewitt Ridge, went left to the dead end, tried straight ahead (the best view in my opinion), and tried to the right down the the other pathway. So we checked out all the spots we had heard about in that area but everything was taken.
It was also a super busy weekend, being that it was around the time Comet NEOWISE was visible in the sky.
Josie and Jose thank you much for the info. We have some friends who went up there this morning and we’re meeting them tomorrow. We were hoping to get a good spot for 5 rigs : ) Be safe out there guys!!

cool trip! There's a plaskett creek campground up in the mountains? Was it a better spot than prewitt?
Yes, just keep on driving up Plaskett Ridge Rd and there are endless camping spots along the side of the rode with great views! The higher up you go the better the views.
I personally liked this area better because it was less crowded and many more camping spots to choose from.

Unfortunately every sign we encountered said no fires permitted. Have fun on your trip!

Haha, good question. Usually we grab a shovel, dig a hole, and go. Always pack up the TP in a doggie poo bag.
