I think Twice released 5 albums in 2018, that was most definitely their hardest year. I believe they have over 300 songs including Japanese albums and solo work/ SUB-UNIT album from the Japanese members Mina .Sana and Momo "MISAMO" . Also Nayeon, had the first solo album debut "cause she's the oldest" then Jihyo and then Nayeon had her 2nd solo comeback album this year and then Tzuyu had her solo debut just recently, they also had a Japanese comeback this year and and aaaaaaand "MISAMO" will be releasing their 2nd album in October I believe. I can't believe these girls have kept this same pace for almost ten years. They are crazy workaholics, after they resigned a new contract they basically call the shots now. Thank you for putting in your time and effort checking out Twice.

The late 2019-2021 years were a rough period, my time recollection might be off but I think Mina went on hiatus because of anxiety a couple of months before feels special came out, so her participating in the song and music video was a huge surprise after radio silence, albeit she didn't participate in any comeback stuff or most? of their world tour. Then covid arrived right after she fully return from hiatus. They then released a mini album on the 1st of June 2020, during the preparation Jeongyeon was having trouble with a neck injury and found out she had a herniated disc in her neck. She still participated in some of their youtube stuff while recovering, but she then went on hiatus due to anxiety in October, came back in Feb 2021, went on another hiatus in August that same year :(
Oh and Feel Special is a very meaningful song for the fans from the lyrics & situation surrounding it. JYP wrote it, and when I first heard the song I thought it was about Mina, but he said he wrote it after Sana had a rough patch and saw how the rest of the girls were supporting her and got inspiration from that
Also in 2020 besides the 1 mini album, they also released a Japanese single + a mini album worth of Japanese versions of a random assortment of their Korean songs
And yes, if there was ever a case of overworking, that debut-2019 period would be it. Funnily enough, during that time on a bit of longer break, I think I recall Nayeon talking about how she wants to work again because she missed working. Although I can't find where she mentioned that. But she reiterated that statement in an interview during her first solo promotions, talking about how she prefers frequent smaller breaks rather than long breaks because she actually enjoys working.
Adding to that period, they also debuted in Japan in 2017 and have done really well there ever since. It's kinda nuts to think about, but Twice have probably release more Japanese songs than some Kpop groups have released Korean songs, a whopping 55!!!! That number isn't even including the 20 re-recordings of some of their Korean songs...

Im not sure if you forgot to put Jeongyon's name down but she had the herniated disc and was the second member to take hiatus from issues with anxiety. You probably already knew that, just forgot to put her name.

@ronrio784 You're right I did forget to put Jeongyeon's name down, I could've sworn I did though lol. I guess I rewrote the sentence but forgot I didn't put her name back in

TWICE has 2 main dancers, the 2/3 Japanese members.. Momo and Mina (4th from the right).. Tzuyu is the maknae, the tallest one and main visual of the group~ 😆
Maknae line > Dahyun, Chaeyoung & Tzuyu.. 🥰
