I was in the US from 1988 to 1993. I was driving first in Connecticut and then in the San Francisco Bay Area. Your video reminded me of those days in the US. We didn't have smartphones or GPS.

The good old road map days. Stopping to ask for directions. I don't think I'd be able to do that driving in Japan. My navi is a lifesaver.
