Here are some revision techniques for A Level Physics that are also applicable to all exam boards including OCR A Level Physics, CIE Cambridge 9702, AQA A Level Physics, Edexcel Physics and similar courses such as AP Physics, IB Physics etc.

As someone who doesn’t do a level maths, I find that the revision guides and textbook doesn’t provide me with the maths skills to answer a lot of the questions in the aqa exam, so just gotta try and maximise the marks from theory questions

honestly why does the UK A level have more time to study?? we start the semester at the same time but are rushed to end it quicker. the only good part is getting over the exams reaching summer break faster but like I'd rather take longer and do better instead you know? lmao I'll stop whining and go study now but still I'd love to know why

very interesting, thanks for the idea. It can depend a lot on individual mistakes from person to person, I recommend analysing your performance and seeing if there are topics or questions styles that prevent you from doing so. Good luck, you got this!

thank you so much! Sorry no, I think me predicting papers would probably do more harm than good to your learning as papers are impossible to predict. The only way to to really ensure you get a good grade is go over the whole syllabus and solve all the past papers. You got this!

Is the specification the same each year as It is going over practically all the content in physics or does it change each year?

Is University Physics by Young and Freedman great for preparing for A Level Physics and securing an A*?
Hi, this is a university textbook and it's great for olympiads and higher level physics but definitely not necessary for A Level Physics. For A Level Physics I recommend the CGP textbook, the Oxford University Press one is pretty good as well. Good luck!

it's a national exam in the UK, and outside for international A Levels, typically used as entrance to universities
Hi sir, my exams are in 2 days,and the physics is just a carry subject for me I don’t really need it in the future, I barely can solve a past paper and my exam is in 2 days! What shall I do to just get an E or D grade, pls sir you r help at this time would be appreciated
my advice would be to go over the syllabus and use it as a checklist while solving as many past papers as possible in 2 days.

Guys don’t worry about it alevels don’t matter any way. I don’t think you should try especially if you’re doing AQA physics

in fact, i recommend writing the wrong answers on purpose in the final exams. if u write the wrong answers on purpose, the exam actually becomes EASIER because u dont have to worry about getting the right answers

sorry pal, I only have my workbooks which are pretty cheap and I put an extraordinary amount of work in to create. For free topical sheets I recommend physics and maths tutor which have excellent collection of past paper questions summarised by topics. Hope this helps!
