You are so talented!! I do aerial silks and trapeze but this is so fun to watch as a fellow aerialist!! Love you and your channel!! 🤍 you are really an inspiration, keep up the hard work ❤️🔥
Thank you for the best tutorial ever . I was always dreaming to try the hoop . I started for the very first time ,and I have little fear of highee attitudes (that’s why I came to fight with it as well ). And coach from the very first class put me really high and gave me basic movements like was mention. But it was hard for me ,and coach told me that it’s not for me . And now I found out this video with very simple movements for beginners and I see that it wasn’t my fault .Now excited to start over ❤Thnak you one more time .
Totally NOT your fault. That happened to me too and i felt so defeated. so i started posting videos to share with people who share the same frustrations.
Thank you for creating these classes! I have recently installed a hoop at home (learned the basics with a trainer but still a total beginner) and really love to watch and learn from your channel while practicing. Would love to see so much more from you!! I would also like to ask you about your Aerial Hoop journey, and specifically if you feel like practicing have helped you in becoming more self-confident? I am curious since many people in our community seems to agree on that, and that's a very beautiful thing. Strengthening body, mind and soul
Welcome to the FAM! so excited to hear that you just got your hoop installed!! I am also back to doing hoop so we will do a live session on hoop in Oct live! You should join us. Regarding your question, practice definitely gives me confident because I get more used to the hoop like it's a part of my body. It's just about getting familiar with the space and equipment and move freely around it for me. What's stopping you from feeling confident?
@@aerialpractice That's so sweet, thank you so much!! Wow, live session sounds like a lot of fun, have you decided on a date yet? I can definitely feel that I get more and more comfortable with the hoop and the space around me with time, just as you say, but I am also very curious about how/if practicing have had a positive effect on like self-image and being more confident/comfortable in ones own body etc, if you know what I mean. People around me practicing Aerial Arts and pole for example have told me this, but of course it must be very individual. It's truly amazing if many people feel this way though, and it just makes me more inspired. Can you relate to this (if it's a too personal question I totally get it if you don't want to answer, no problem at all!).
You are welcome M! Do you only do Aerial Hoop? I mostly post more hammock and sling but I am going to a Hoop training in May so I will post more on what I learn on Hoop.
I just got an aerial yoga set up and I enjoy it, I think I'm gonna be moving into silks, but I am having an amazing time on the hoop. I'm a bit older so I'm not as flexible, it's still very fun.
hahah right! They always think it's playtime! Oliver (the bigger one) can do pull ups on the hoop and climb daily on my wall bar (I wish he doesnt but oh well), the other one has given up to use her strength, when I look at her i see my oldself ahhaah!
Is it possible you could do more conditioning videos in preparation for the hoop? I don't have a hoop yet, but it's probably smart to get stronger/more flexible beforehand.
Absolutely Nadia. We just finished a 12 WEEK workout program for aerialists on silks/hammock. You can check them out here: th-cam.com/play/PLt3x-Wjix6Cy-Hbx0DeeX7z4__eY83bgV.html If you don't have a rig for hanging exercises, you can also start with the 10 days workout challenge: th-cam.com/play/PLt3x-Wjix6CzLI2P1wqQNTnIvBlccxTeB.html
@@nadia-yx6re Me 2! Now I am gonna stretch it out to spend 12 months going through the exercises again haha! It's challenging but I grew so much from completing this challenge.
Depends what you are looking for. if you are just starting and don;t have a specific request on your equipment, you can find links on my shop with discount code =) aerialpractice.com/shop/
I never used zero point. Mine is single point, and I have a moon that is double point. I like my single point because I can set it up in 3 length in my small space.
Doesn’t the top of the hoop hurt u and get in the way when you wrap around spanset? It’s so painful for me and prevents me from doing any work on the spanset
@@Aerial_brenda Yes and no. You can see in some top bar videos I also get into the spanset for some tricks. It hurt when I don't pay attention but most of the time I can work with it. Got to be careful around it. I have used zero point in a training before. It is more comfortable. Since I only have 1 hoop and my space is very limited, I like having the options to do underbar tricks. So in the end it really depends on what you want. Does this help?
Yes, thank you! I also have limited space and low ceilings. So you are saying that with the tabless hoop, because it requires a spanset it hangs too low to do under the bar work? That’s my concern too… also, my tab faces “horizontal” so it’s really wide. Ouch!! I thought I saw yours faced vertical? I’ve never seen those before!
Really love it, i am practicing since 2 months et i think you should post more combo for beginners, advanced … it’s really helpful!!! Thank You for this vidéo 😘

Thanks, I guess that it's time to kick out the $175 for a hoop now :) what kind of tape do I get?
@Snowchild Thanks, grip tape :) I have the mounts, I found a large one on eBay for $176, without the tape. I'm hoping that the tape isn't too much ♥
@Snowchild Dang, thanks!

Any suggestions for beginners who don't have their own equipment? How do we go about installing one of these if we are serious about it?

what are you using to mount your hoop? i really want to set up a rig at home
what you need depends on what you have
