- In this Fishing Challenge I take you guys with me to Walmart with a budget of $50! Rod/Reel, Lures, etc had to be purchased all within the $50 budget. Does Walmart have a good assortment of fishing gear in 2021? We then take our new gear out to test it in the waters and see if we can catch some fish! Season 2 / V2 budget fishing challenges are here. Where should I go tackle shopping and do a budget fishing challenge next???

If you want to find creeks that are on dirt trails and stuff I would suggest getting a mountain bike.
what up, The trek marlin 5 is a cheaper good mountain bike, its like 500$ and I have had no problems with it. Im 5'10" and I have a large if that helps you. Its a good brand, and nothing too fancy. Look it Up!!!

If your thinking of buying a entry level mountain bike the Trek Marlin 7 would be a great option. Great video!
Very true I have one and it is reliable and have only replaced the pedals with some raceface chesters other than that nothing has broken
I purchased that same combo from Walmart too, and it's a good budget setup to get to keep in your vehicle so when you see a new juicy body of water you at least have a fishing combo to use .

I discovered those bug repellent bracelets a few years ago, and they do actually work!! I wear one on my wrist and one on my ankle and they do a good job of keeping the mosquitos away!!!

I really love the energy and effort you bring to all the videos, and I want to be honest with you, as someone who has been subscribed to your channel for well over 3 years, starting when you had like 50,000 subscribers. I feel that in your efforts to come up with more and more challenges, you have been sacrificing the quality of the fishing in your videos. For a while I really enjoyed how you were able to come up with so many different challenges from so many different stores and restaurants, but I feel that sometimes it's too much. I'd rather see you go at it with your best gear and try for stuff like wild trout in the Gunpowder River in Maryland (or meet up with Fish Hawk), or catfish in the Chesapeake Bay Watershed (maybe collab with Luke from Catfish and Carp). Or even sending it up to NY for steelhead (I'd really love to see you catch steelhead). I completely understand that fishing in Delaware is really hard during this time of year (I live in New Jersey and I don't catch a ton of fish in the winter, either), and I understand that suggestions like the ones above are easier said than done, but I'd like to see you do more to do new types of fishing and get out there more, rather than challenges that only result in a small bluegill. I hope that your channel continues to succeed, and I'll continue watching, and I hope to see some exciting videos in the future.

if you want a bike you should probably get a mountain bike, given your going to travel
Nice video! Also I recommend you get a bike from a shop. I ride a Giant Talon 3 which is a mountain bike, but Giant also makes commuter bikes. I do advise against department store bikes though. That’s the one thing that Walmart doesn’t do well.

I work at a bike shop. Anything around 500 new is going to be good but go to your local shop. Don’t get a department store bike!

Believe it or not but those bugables actually work pretty well.. just make sure to wear two. One on your ankle and the other on your wrist ( opposite sides)

what I would recommend in the warmer seasons use bass color lures for bass it might sound weird but it works
Bro! Live bait works for winter fishing in DE. Get some small shiners. I've had luck with shiners on a bobber, but there are probably better ways to rig them. It takes patience, but it works!
My two cents. For insect repellent I use Cutter or Deep Woods Off. Anything else is crap. Great video, I like advice on cheap gear that works. BTW. I fish Southern California.

I used to have a matzua spinning combo from that some walmart, TRASH!!!!! I returned since it had a life time warranty. It fell apart in the 1st month.

Football head jig with a white creyfish chunk. Get procure trophy bass. Use a bright red sharpie color a bright red dot around where hook is inserted into the chunk. Let it sit a couple minutes to let red dot on creyfish chunk to dry. Then, generously covor the creyfish white chunk with procure trophy bass or trophy trout. Let procure sit 2 to 3 minutes. After letting sharpie sit a minute then letting procure sit just relax an enjoy surroundings and consider where and how you'll present your lure. Use a presentation to get a reaction. Yes, fast retrieve with long pauses 8 seconds all the way to 15 seconds pause. Fast retrieve 3 to 4 seconds, then pause. If fast retrieve doesn't work, then slow down to moderate retrieve long pause. If moderate retrieve long pause doesn't work, then slow retrieve long pause. Change retrieve and pause after 3 tries. Each try in different locations 😊

The Zebco slingshot is the best purchase combo wise I’ve made at Walmart the rod is perfect for panfish and bullhead and it casts smaller baits and lures extremely far

Honestly wasn’t stoked to see you pick up that soft plastic then set it back in the tree where you found it. I have a Matzuo that's been good to me. I've had it for three years and have caught some nice size bass and catfish with it. I keep it set up for crappie fishing now.
You should go to a river and try river fishing

Those bug bracelets work very well when we go prairie dog huntin we get chigars really bad and we put those on our ankles and work very well. But I use them for masqeutos too and work very well 10-10 recommended!!

When you're having those type of line troubles just take your reel of the rod and run hot water over the spool for a minute. It should help the mono relax and eliminate the memory in cheap line!

I don’t know exactly what type of bike you are looking for but the best advice I can give you is to go to a bike shop instead of a big box store like Walmart or target. The people at the bike shop know their stuff and will hook you up.

12:34 is a Vertical Lures Tube-X. I think they went out in one of the Mystery bait boxes. They are an okay lure but did not sell well.

If you invest in bikes I suggest a higher end one because they last long and are light. Those walmart bikes are like 50 pounds
