    Omg I love this so much! I’ve been crocheting for 20 plus years and you are the first person to do a full stitch on the ends to make it easier to work up on! Thank you! ❤

    Great tip with using single crochets to set up the sides of the ribbing to be worked into.

    This is as the BEST tutorial I have ever watched! You explain everything very well and go slow enough to keep up with! I’m working on my second one now. I’m excited to wear them. Soooo cute! Thank you for sharing!

    Very cute! My sister will love a pair in her frigid east coast winters! I've never seen that stitch before - love it! You could easily turn these into fingerless gloves to match!
    I've seen a similar that was called the drunken granny stitch! You knew! It's regular grannies instead of clusters worked around a DC post. Thank you so much for sharing your creation with us. I'll definitely check out the link where you found this stitch! Thank you 🥰

    • @ItsNotKnit
      @ItsNotKnit  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Omg you are genius!! I'm totally gonna make some fingerless gloves to match, I will make a video too ❤️, thank you so much ❤️❤️... She would love a pair of these 😁, they are very cozy and warm, and super easy to make ☺️

      @@ItsNotKnit I'm so glad I said what popped into my head! And it helped you! Living in a desert climate that doesn't have the cold nights you get, I tend toward lacier pieces. Can't wait to see you make gloves to match your leg warmers!
      Future possibility - I'd love to have a creative mind teach me how to translate a stitch pattern I like from straight rows into a triangle shawl. They are my current passion! 😜

    What about if you have a bigger calf muscle, I really want to make these for my markets, but what’s the average size of a calf? Mine is bigger than the patter suggests

    The German word for legwarmer is "Stulpen", just fun fact. the stitch is pretty nice. Thank you for sharing. to avoid the seam roling of the middle you can work back rows (dont go in rounds end and start at normal row by turning)
    I love your word spaghetti 😁

  • @kashong

    These are very pretty. I’m looking to make leg warmers for my daughter. Would it work ok to make these a bit longer?

    • @ItsNotKnit
      @ItsNotKnit  ปีที่แล้ว

      Absolutely, you can make them longer by adding as many of the tilted granny rows as you wish😁😁

      So I made the leg warmers. I also made a slouch hat AND a matching pair of fingerless mits. All in rainbow 🌈 yarn. They'll see 👀 me coming. Chuckle.

    I am confused at the very beginning you mentioned crochet in the front loop, then you said all back loop

    • @ItsNotKnit

      Yes, that was just a verbal error, it’s back loop , I apologize

      Ankle warmers!!! Hahahaha! That’s too funny! That’s why I’m making them. I live down by the gulf coast and when it gets below 70 my ankles get cold.
