Thank you so much for this video! It is so helpful to see an ENTIRE session play out. Usually we only get pieces of it. Very helpful for new therapists.

"you were mine and then you were shared" Wooow!!! That was so deep. She just spoke to how so many people feel when their spouse is unfaithful.

The real question is: What is marriage, to you, without sex?

sex is important . im not sure why people downplay it .. its apart of human nature... its still up to the couple to keep that spontaneous and alive as possible just like day one.. and why does she keep looking at him for confirmation when the counselor is asking for your opionion girl

He came in talking about the sex. The session really should have been about how to heal the relationship after the affair. I know this is a roleplay, but it was well acted.

    His apology was not genuine

probably the most common cyclical 'problem' that any western relationship confronts. people get together based on attraction. the guy dates her to get laid and she sleeps with him to nab a relationship. once they're official the dopamine of novelty wears off and they both stop giving but expect to keep getting. they never really got to know each other they just enjoyed the butterflies of the beginning stages of a relationship and now they're stuck with someone they don't really know or want to be with if they aren't getting what they want. the easiest way to prevent this is to go no romance and no xes and actually get to know each other before you bond physically or emotionally.

The solution is to teach kids that casual xes is horrible. Unfortunatelly, people see that as "religious" talk, which can be, but you can also use hard science to show that casual xes (that includes xes on first dates for example) is extremelly unhealthy

This guy is a CREEP; I am so grossed out that I can’t finish the video.

This guy is ringing alarm bells subtly for me. I think he is probably very controlling in real life...and the student needs to improve her vocabulary dramatically and practice phrasing questions.

Move the camera mic away from the chronic cougher. He needs water. His apology isn’t genuine because he thinks having sex just one time with someone else doesn’t count. Without understanding how badly he hurt his partner, she will never move into a mode of forgiveness. The therapist is looking in the wrong direction.

He no longer became a high valued partner to her...this is 5050 in a relationship. Does not work...A man dictates the leadership and standard in a relationship...if he doesnt she will
