Don't get me wrong, I'm a grateful as anyone for anesthetics and modern dental care, but people's teeth really weren't as bad in the middle ages as is commonly believed.

I had this love once, a girl named Jenika Lynn Graves she passed away 3 years ago, she had severe disease took away your health and eyesight still loved me even though she couldn't see my face anymore, I regret not doing enough with her i wish i could have this kind of love back...Great movie one of my favorites

But it doesnt change the fact that modern people are more often sick and western cultures has been sick longer (even hundreds of years) than more primitive cultures. The book i refered tells about this phenomena that primitive societies degenerated instantly when they interacted with western societies. Nowadays theres lots of diseases that are connected with our modern diet, lots of Different sympthoms that the old timers never withnessed during their lifetime. We basically die more sick than in the old days when people lived 100 years old working at their homestead.

The story of braveheart was before the separation of the church probably! If you look carefully to the priest he forms the sign of cross with his three fingers united like we do in the Orthodox Church. The music of this film is amazing!!! And in Titanic!!! 😎

Mclovin, the movie is art, not a history book… art speaks something, this piece of art spoke of a truth which is the value of freedom and peace and peace through strength. So yes, inspiration from something beautiful and true-and in THAT way, this movie is VERY true!! (that is why so many are moved by it!)-should inspire men. Our hearts should be ignited by beauty and truth whatever delivers it and if they aren’t, they are dead. Woe to the self-proclaimed intellectual types who can’t let go of a meaningless stance: the movie wasn’t a historic reenactment so it was meaningless. So short sighted yet so arrogant.
Me and my wife are looking to have a hand-wrapping ceremony up in Scotland. Although I'm half Egyptian my ancestors on my mother's side a Celtic and I think my Pagan beliefs are starting to influence my wife lol. This is my favourite scene in the whole movie, it is truly beautiful!!!

Actually there was a marriage tax imposed on Christians at that time, so people married in secret. Hence the cross and the priest under cover of darkness. She was murdered as a lesson to other Christians to pay the tax. He rebelled against the Brits the rest of his life, avenging her murder.
@@suesmith8372 The film is an almost complete fantasy, William was a noble, not a commoner so he had no need to marry in secret. Most of the story of Williams life comes from a poem by Blind Harry and is unsubstantiated, there is no evidence that his wife was killed by the Sheriff of Lanark.
It’s a movie. None of these people existed, not even the real ones as depicted on screen. It was only inspired by legends and events and people. It’s a beautiful story.
