I completed the Cleveland Way last year. Lovely walk. I especially enjoyed the coastal area. It was good to be reminded of all the places and views. I stayed in Osmotherly, but it was in the YH. Looking forward to part 2 of your journey. Thank you
I wish I'd known you were doing the Cleveland Way Alan. I would have walked a while with you I live three miles from Roseberry Topping. I could have put you up for a night and introduced you to our local delicacy, The Parmo. Maybe another time mate. I hope you enjoyed my stomping ground. It's an amazing hike. I can't wait to see the rest of your journey. John.
I've just finished this today in 5 days and bloody hell it was hard. Its like a rollercoaster 🎢 both in ups and downs and emotions. I am 54 overweight, well i was but ive lost 16 pounds in 5 days. The only other long walk I've done was the Cumbria Way in April and this was a lot harder. Sunburnt by day 4, feet full of compeed. I watched this before leaving, so thanks for giving me the inspiration to attempt it.
@@gmanic Hi, I’m so happy for you and to do it in 5 days is pretty damn good. I agree it has a load more ups and downs than the CW and the steepness of some of the steps made it tough. Im pleased my videos helped in some small way and thank you for leaving a comment, good luck for the future 😀
@@alantraceyoutdoors3572 No need to cut it out, they do look similar from a distance,. I made a similar mistake when I moved to Northallerton. I can see Penn Hill from my road, at first I thought it was one of thev3 peaks, until I checked on a map.

It’s certainly a beautiful area. I’ve worked up there a good amount of time and always enjoyed it.

Yeh, I realised that after doing the 3 peaks. I think I’ll cut it out. 🙁

Was that birds singing in the village?
Yes, Sam. They were Jackdaws.
