I believe I saw one of those locomotives in person operating on the ARR still in its old paint. My brother who works for the railroad also sent me some photos of one as well. There was also a former up locomotive that the ARR bought that I managed to get a photo of back in August.
Yup, they are the newly christened 4129 and 4130 locomotives. They are also the first new locomotives to be wrapped instead of painted, other than the 4328 (centennial locomotive).
28 SD70MACs on the roster before these 2. 8 GP38-2s and 15 GP40-2s. They should be fine with that, but they are not wanting to fix a bunch of locomotives in the dead line.

ARR’s fleet is mostly SD70MAC’s aside from a few geeps, so this purchase makes a lot of sense.

Pretty cool video! I wonder if these will get HEP or just stay as freight locomotives...
Going into service just as they are, probably get new paint later this year.
