- In this video, we're giving you a tour of the BEST places to see in Edinburgh! Part 1 of our Scotland summer travel guide will take you to Victoria Street, Dean Village, Princes St Gardens, Greyfriar Kirkyard, and Greyfriar Bobby, and more!

In this part 1 video we will share part of what we did on the first 2 days, so stay tuned for what's coming up next!
We began at Circus Lane house and then headed to Circus Lane Alley to take some super cute pictures.
Still in Stockbridge, we then headed to Dean Village, walked near the Water of Leith.
Walking through Princes Street Gardens, there are many things to see, such as St. Cuthbert's Church and churchyard, Ross Fountain, Ross Bandstand, as well as many monuments like the Wojtak Bear, and the Scottish American War Memorial to honor Scots who fought in the first World War, among many others.
The Flower Clock is beautiful to see as well, and this year they honored Queen Elizabeths 70th Jubilee. And Ross Fountain also offers a good backdrop for pictures and views of the castle.
The charming curvy cobblestone Victoria St is one that cannot be missed with many shops and restaurants to explore.
Also, check out Grassmarket Square, Vennel Viewpoint and Greyfriars Bobby.
In part 2 we will review Edinburgh Castle, Calton Hill, Hollyrood Palace, St. Giles Cathedral, the National Museum of Scotland, the Royal Mile, and more, so stay tuned!

As an auld guy... born in Canada...brought up in Edinburgh, Scotland...been round the world twice..[as a musician on cruise ships]... now resident in Fife, Scotland.

Superb photography.....Accurate history...[I'm a Scottish history anorak!]... and love the way you use correct Scots pronunciation.
Something that appears to be so "difficult" for visitors from the country just south of our border?
[Incidentally...Just one minor spelling thing?.. It's not Hollyrood...but Holyrood..."Holy" as in sacred... and "Rood"... the cross that Christians worship?]
