    Can anyone tell me the format of answering 8 mark questions? My teacher said that you have to write either 4 points in favour and 4 in against or you can choose format 5,3. She says not to overwrite so idk what to do, the marking key says that list like response will only get 4 marks, so how do I attempt in a way that I don't overwrite and write in a list like manner??

    • @khadeeja
      @khadeeja  ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Your teacher is not wrong, writing points in favour and against is very crucial, but I must point out that it's not necessary to have four each. Your points can even be three, or maybe five against, four in favour etc. It can and should vary. The key to making sure you're not just listing positives and negatives is to give reasoning and evidence for your claims, and link points together, so for example, a positive of economic growth is increased national output which leads to more employment opportunities etc. but which has the effect of high inflation, and then you can refer to the issue that always exists between unemployment and inflation, where low inflation means high unemployment, and vice versa. Hope this helps.

    Hey i am currently taking economics for my o levels but the problem i am getting is that i find graphs really complicsted and whenever i open past paper i feel like not studying
    Though my concepts are really clear and i enjoy learning it in class

    • @khadeeja
      @khadeeja  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If your concepts are clear, all you need is a lot of practice to cement your knowledge, and I know you might not feel like studying, but doing past papers is the best way to get great grades in your O Levels. Wishing you the best!

    Hi, I'm in year 10 and it's the second week. I've chosen business and economics but I'm not sure whether that's a good thing. I'm good at all the core subjects so please tell me whether I've made the right decision taking economics.

      Hey there! I loved economics at school, and it's definitely a very interesting subject. I don't think there's any reason why you should regret taking it, or change your subject, because it's not too hard either. Unless you want to get into medicine in the future (or any STEM field), this is the best way to go!
