Alien X must be freaky as hell to be in front of, just a field of stars with eyes, although admittedly it's a lot less imposing when you see Kevin trying to fit him in the trunk.
The way Kevin effortlessly moves him around like a mannequin makes me feel like he's made of something similar to those epoxy sculptures. Suddenly a field of stars may become a black layer sprinkled with spray paint.

Oh woah season finale already. This is the 10th & all powerful Alien X I think he’s a great balance of power & weakness given his only real downside is his split personality. I also love that you can hear 3 voices when he speaks really adds to his cosmic essence & how his abilities work. Also great title for this episode. I also love Bens line “ I got 9 other guys that could do it better”

You have no idea of how much Alien X was hyped back in the day before his debut What he did was to "reverse" the damage of the dam. Not necessarily reversed time because it only affected the dam. Alien X could be omnipotent if it weren't for Bellicus and Serena not wanting to help

Alien-X is a species known as a Celestialsapien. They're basically omnipotent. I love the concept of it, a super powerful, omnipotent transformation with the significant drawback of having to deliberate with these annoying heads that can't agree on a damn thing.

Season 1 and 2 of alien force was written originally as one season. I guess it was CN who wanted it to be two. That's why episode 13 felt like just another episode.
Yeah it felt like part 1 of a 2 parter. Was a really weird feeling watching it when it came out because they hyped it up for a week or 2 and I was hyping myself up about it all through school that day
The reason this didn't feel like a finale is that there was a whole build-up that you missed through advertisment and the intro about who Alien X was. That and I believe the first two seasons where produced as one? Could be wrong about that one though.

The X in his name can both represent the Roman numeral 10, for Ben 10 and the 10th Alien introduced in Alien Force, and also the variable "x" in math equations, as in, his powers can be anything since he can do whatever they decide to do, also the episode title being "X = Ben + 2." Back when this was airing there was also a whole promotional thing to hype up the mystery of "who is the 10th alien" and such. Last episode you were all like "woah they introduced time travel to Ben 10, that's crazy" and i was like, just you wait for the next episode. Though now that i think about technically they did time travel in Ben 10,000 And yes, you are kind of right, that while this was definitely a good episode and important to see, it didn't really feel like a finale, probably because it had nothing to do with the main overall arc with the DNAliens.
I always consider season 1 & 2 as one season since it's quite similar, and this is the mid-season finale to me, I forget it's actually the season 1 finale so I'm not that shocked by this calm episode ^^
Ah Alien X the god who do anything, but does nothing because it can't agree with itself what to do. Honestly I love the idea that if an alien had multiple conciousness then Ben too would gain extra in the transformation, then parring it with the most powerful alien and literally making it so that the being literally won't do anything unless said conciousness can win a vote is just genius honestly. Alien X was basically stuck in a dead lock until Ben came along. The relationship with Bellicus, Serena and Ben is meant to be a parallel to Ben, Kevin and Gwen; all three need to work in harmony and work as one. All sides need to to be in agreement. It's effectively like a debate team situation. Alien X will return when Ben is ready and better equipped to use it properly
And here we meet ALIEN X the 10th alien. The god alien his powers are his thoughts anything you think of it comes to life, Simple. A reality Warping god being introduced is a major deal ! The possibilities are endless.
I didn't even remember that this was the final episode of the first season, I thought it was in the middle of the season. I kind of consider Alien Force season 1 and 2 as just one thing but you'll only understand later.
Every episode of Ben 10 especially in alien Force no spoilers has a meaning to it and that's why I love this show the showrunners are whoever made the show made it so impressive how the story kept going and making sense in my opinion

Alien X, a celestialsapien race, can alter the fabric of space, reality, time and dimensional boundaries (It did reverse the time-state of the dam back to before receiving damage). It's so powerful just a single blink or even a mere breath can wipe out the multiverse. And its why Alien X needs to be so extremely deliberate because every slightest motion 'they' make literally has everything in existence hanging on it. Ben comes in as the voice of reason and logic to tie break Serena and Belecus' in order for Alien X to actually do something, considering millions of possibilities/consequences as essentially a god-like existence (every celestialsapien has 3 consciousness like this episode).

Well, Dwayne McDuffie said that Alien X isn't the most powerful Alien in the Omnitrix. But, when Dwayne was asked "Which alien is better depending on power, Alien X or Swampfire?", he answered "I don't understand the question. Alien X is pretty much useless. So, we have to assume that Dwayne meant that based on his usefulness, Alien X isn't the most powerful, which is true.

Ok too explain what ben did as alien X, when he had slammed on the dial with Alien X visable, he then became one of the three voices inside Alien X and as they said, Ben takes the voice of reason and tries to agree with the two others What ben did as alien X was this We managed to debate with thr other personalities outside of time meaning he could have spent like 10minutes asking them to do something but in our reality it appears as if it was instant (granted that the other two personalities gave him some slack because he was new too Alien X) Rewinded time on the dam, he didnt fully reversed time itself, but rather rewinded time on the water and the dam setting it back before said dam was destroyed With the rest of alien X's screen time of ben being stuck in that form, it should be noted that Alien X can surpass the omnitrix timeout fuction, meaning Ben could be stuck as Alien X for a long time, this can happen from a long time period up to even years

There’s not of characters I know Kevin Conroy to play. Just Batman, it’s cool to hear him hear. He was the best Batman VA ever. There’s been others but no one tops him. Glad u finally meet Alien X. Definitely an OP one but not all that reliable

Ok too explain what ben did as alien X, when he had slammed on the dial with Alien X visable, he then became one of the three voices inside Alien X and as they said, Ben takes the voice of reason and tries to agree with the two others
What ben did as alien X was this
We managed to debate with thr other personalities outside of time meaning he could have spent like 10minutes asking them to do something but in our reality it appears as if it was instant (granted that the other two personalities gave him some slack because he was new too Alien X)
Rewinded time on the dam, he didnt fully reversed time itself, but rather rewinded time on the water and the dam setting it back before said dam was destroyed
With the rest of alien X's screen time of ben being stuck in that form, it should be noted that Alien X can surpass the omnitrix timeout fuction, meaning Ben could be stuck as Alien X for a long time, this can happen from a long time period up to even years
that last line was NOT to be mentioned...

It would be nice if Ben made a deal with Bellicus and Serena to turn into Alien X once in a while (let's say, once for a day, every two weeks), this way Ben can practice being Alien X, by bonding with the two and make some debates, considering all Bellicus and Serena want is to not be neglected.
