Astalos' parts get weak when they're charged up. If he gets completely charged, he gets faster/stronger attacks, but he also takes a ton more damage. You should be able to get him into that state by Shock Trapping him.
How can you see the percental hp value of monsters? Im guessing some kind of mod for pc players maybe? Also man, your channel is a hidden gem. Content is pure entertainment! And you seem to have such a nice group of friends!
The worst/best anomaly quest I have ever done is the one where we have to hunt a Seething Bazelgeuss, a Furious Rajang, and an Afflicted Lunagaron. Rajang was the worst.
If that astalos was lvl73 I cant imagine a lvl250 apex astalos in the future but I dont own the dlc as Im like a quarter way through high rank But 2 things 1: is Sunbreak worth it? 2:any tips for apex monsters and Invaders, a Rajang appeared during my Rathian quest and I dunno what to do?
Yeah lvl >200 anomalies will be wild Im having more fun with sunbreak than the base game tbh. I'd wait for a sale while you play through high rank if possible. Apex rathalos was one of the hardest fights of base game imo. Be very patient, I used up almost the whole timer going solo on that one For invaders try to mount them with aerial attacks and wirebug moves. They usually leave the area after a mount. You can also try using dung, but it's not necessary
can we talk about how tanky afflicted kadaki are? I had an investigation lvl 98 with afflicted rakna, pyre rakna and basarios literally the most tanky monsters in the game and I lost bcs time... AND I HAD 50 MINUTES!
@@AXIDIUS yeah hammer is really not the best against the raknas bcs there's pretty much no head. I was using gunlance so the bad hitzones weren't as bad but gunlance is still kinda weak even after the buffs.

Mitsuzune's bubbles get popped instantly with gunner's shrapnel ammo shots. Makes it quite a bit less scary.

I think astalos' weak spots for bows and bowguns are his wings when they are charged (when it's colored green). Correct me if I am wrong tho.

I tried fighting pyre rakna kadaki solo. Took 22 mins of my trying to hit the head, covered by armor most of the time. Very infuriating
