Soo, u never watched his or bams documentary? Novak gave up skating for heroin, and bam helped him for yrs to keep skating but drugs had him, yea Novak was just as good if not bettr than bam as a kid

dude he was the greater talent of that whole bunch until Bam surpassed him because Novak traded his career for drugs and left the scene for a while.

My friend that is pro in Australia was really encouraged by his mother and when she seen him get a chip she would buy him a new board, he gave us the next to new chipped boards, we loved it when he got angry hahaha

I’ll never ever ever ever understand why you have to break your board ? So wasteful and disrespectful to the tool that helped you achieve your goal.
I agree and would never do it myself but there is something poetic about fighting hard for a trick, landing it, then breaking your board signifying the last awesome trick you did on that particular board. But you could make the same statement by hanging the board up maybe with a nice shot taken of the trick.

Yeah I grew up poor as well. A deck had to last a long time. I think this is akin to what some rockstars have done after a killer show: smash the guitar to splinters. To us it seems odd and wasteful, but in that moment of triumph that's what they wanted to do.

I said no fuckin way. Then saw it was 52 seconds…..that was pretty impressive considering he dosnt skate and hasn’t done a real trick on camera before. Even his liar footage is mini ramps and skateparks.
