In the US most of the time pushback is at your discretion but if you will be pushing onto an active taxiway, like in your case here, you need to request it. Great video as always. ps, looks like you were using the a321neo with the LEAP engines, jetBlue uses the Pratt and Whitney engines so there should be an included livery for it

Hey, just want to clear things up so you can know for next time! In america "aprons" are uncontrolled, so if you pushed back into an apron, it'd be at your discretion. The reason you needed clearance at Boston to pushback is because the only way you could pushback was on an active taxiway. It's not about Boston specifically, it's because of that. The "one-four fourteen thousand" is a way for controllers to avoid confusion, "one four (14), fourteen (14) thousand)", is the two ways you say the altitude in case first half or last half the controller came in broken. love the video!

I did something similar the only difference was I flew a Air Transat A321 neo from London Heathrow to Toronto, i’ll tell you one thing it’s not only scary because you keep thinking you’re gonna run out of fuel, it’s also terrifying because you have to take off of max takeoff weight, I almost used the entire runway in London Heathrow on the Vatsim, it was my first transatlantic flight and I love the fact that London ATC helped me so much to figure out how to fix my flight plan, but dude love it and I hope you do some thing like a air Portugal A321neo or Air transat A321Neo across the Atlantic just for the fun of it

When you fly over the Atlantic and take a break/sleep, do you hope that no ATC log on or do you disconnect and reconnect after the break??? I kinda wanna do long haul flights on Vatsim and not make complete chaos over the Atlantic!!

Amazing job I just I have one thing to say is you can use 33L with the winds and it a long runway to take off from and also the beacon turns on before pushing it stays off during boarding or when the engine is shut down
im doing the same flight and he handled those winds better than me 😭the winds i just had were disgusting at boston, i almost blew off the runway 💀 (loving the videos, been watching for about 4 months keep going with those videos!!!!!)

We have to say 1-4 14,000 feet because US Standardizes transition level at FL180, yall have transitions as low as 4000 feet (I know 6000 for sure)if i am remember correctly so that's why you never really hear 1-1 11,000 feet, or 1-5, 15,000 feet.
Looking at your specs, I’d be interested to see your settings. I’ve got slightly higher specs and get no where near the performance, so much so I’d go nowhere near Heathrow 😂

I'm more of a Boeing fan but I got to appreciate a single isle twin airliner crossing the atlantic. One day they'll catch up to the 737 😉

when i was landing in Warsaw today I had 20 knots crosswind and i touched down in the middle of the runway
