      There’s always another more true story in many of these cases. I was big in the house scene and some folks that I was close to and worked for me blackballed me and everyone believed their version of me and that was 20 years ago. So ppl. throw ppl. that helped them under the bus all the time and that’s how ppl. work and smoke in your face and talk shit when you’re not around bc they want to take your place and jealous of you. Ppl. Say that all the time on the part of ppl. being jealous, but it does happen all the time.
      You think when you make it, everyone shows you love and reflects you, especially from your peers, but it don’t work out that way most of the time and just human nature.
      I had to learn this the hard way, but I least I learned and woke up to how it works. Sadly this happens to a lot of good ppl. all the time. But when they say anything, ppl. just think they’re being bitter and don’t want to hear it. So bc of that, these sociopath keep doing what they do bc they know how ppl. work.
      Meanin I got a solid rep and knowing that if I started to do ppl. wrong, no one is gonna believe it and that’ll help me keep doing wrong bc I’m not suspected for doing ppl. wrong. That’s like street 101 that i forgot about when I got soft and trusting, trust no one and that includes family. How many say o got your back and instead throw your ass under the bus. How many homies come and visits you in prison and sends you money? Hmm?!

      Frankie Cutlass original bag of tricks. Was always A Freestyle DJ I don’t know why they called that type of music freestyle?You had Judy Torres. Two without hats, TKA, Doug lazy, twin hype, fascination, little Susie, basically all of those groups got bought out by Tommy boy records and all of said artists were thrown in a vault and basically didn’t see the light of day after said purchase except I left dozens of names off the list but they all made some good money doing shows starting after the year 2000 when their songs were already over 10-15 years old even the artist Shannon would be considered club/freestyle and she was getting 10,000 a show and she has done a lot of shows between the year 2000 -2020

    Being born and raised in chicago and always sparringwith the latin kings I was heartbroken when I found out the latin kings streched out to new york because I always looked at new york as the mecca of hip hop culture and feel like the gang culture has effected the music coming out of new york.

    • @richieblondet2310
      @richieblondet2310 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +11

      The Lating Kings had never impacted on the whole of local NYC HipHop culture. Unlike Chicago, the Latin Kings emerged at a time (1986) when "Street Gangs" were played out in NY. It was the era of the drug crews who battled it out for real estate. The genesis of the Latin Kings in NY state begin in prison. Not on the street. When the movement spilled into the street the Rap music industry in NYC was not reppin' that movement. It was actually on some Marcus Garvey level, if anyone remembers late 80s-early '90s HipHop culture in NY (before the Bling era that Diddy spearheaded). Rope chains were replaced by leather medallions with a map of the African continent etched upon it, with the colors resembling flags of African countries. There might have been some underground cats repping the gangster life. But they were so underground even the cemeteries didn't catch them on their dial. By and large the rap culture in NYC has been about MC competition/rivalry, partying, celebrating materialism, community history, misogyny and socio-political awareness. The drill movement that emerged from the BX seems to be fueled by the goon culture.

There was a little scuffle with two T.S members but never a beat down. And for the record I was still a King during that situation, and I didn't get kick out of the Nation because of Joe or Pun. There were a few mistakes on my last post, so I just came back to edit:
    When it comes to Frankie Cutlass. I remember that was Epic's time in the earlier 90s. Frankie was in Manhattan, and Frankie was the fourth crown at the time. In the beginning days, when I first met Frankie, I was still hearing a phrase from my older peers that I was still wet behind the ears, thinking I'm an adult. Because I hated the word peewees in 1992, I was already in the streets doing dumb shit. If I recall correctly, Tone was made first crown by Epic. I was there at the karate school where we used to have universals; they didn't let peewees in, but I was in that meeting 😆. I remember Frankie very well. I never knew what happened with him and the nation. Those days were very dangerous, but now it makes sense how and why I lost communication with Frankie. I don't even know why I write this or take the time to edit this. I feel like it's a useless time. I remember the last time I saw Frankie. It's crazy how you can respect others or even look up to others, and in reality, they don't give a s*** about you in return. My life has always been like a roller coaster, and I lost 100% contact with my brother Frankie or my so-called brother. I guess at this point, I might as well just say my imaginary brother. Cano is correct. BIG PUN was never a king, but he did have strong ties with the nation. I have always been around Jimmy's Bronx Cafe. I would show that persona that I was a young adult. I was going to Jimmy's Bronx Cafe as a kid, but I never conducted myself as someone who goes to school and lives with Mommy and Daddy. I was always on my grind, surviving, showing the adults that I could do what they're doing. I was attracted to the women, the cars, the money, the jewelry. I wanted all that, especially attention. I remember those days. I even knew Jimmy, and I didn't know he was good friends with my older brother Mark. Small world 🌎. But as I keep on saying, I just wanted to be an adult. I robbed myself of a childhood, and I knew Steve. If you've been around Jimmy's Bronx Cafe, then people will recognize these names. But I always remember that Frankie did a lot of good things, but since I was a young teen at that time, there was so much going on that I was never aware of or part of. I don't know and never knew the full story about the fallout with Frankie, but do you think anybody would care how it would affect a teenager who looked up to him? Shit, all I knew was that he was my brother. Since he was older, I saw him as my big brother, or I assumed he recognized me back as his brother. Call me dumb, call me naive, call me stupid; it is what it is. It's interesting how I learned that good people always go through trials and tribulations. Growing up, I realized that a good person faces some foul shit sometimes. Having a good heart, it's like no good deed goes unpunished. I give a lot of respect to my brother Cano ADR. When I met Cuban, and Cuban could tell you himself, we go back to the day of Big Pun's funeral. I say this publicly, I got nothing but love for Frankie. I don't care what anybody says. I may not be happy with him because he chose to cut ties with me, but he's still my brother, even if he doesn't want to recognize me. Once a king, always a king. Maybe one day we can have a sit down. Cano ADR! One crown, one nation, with a bloodline of kings!! Life is too short. When we know better, we do better. The best thing to spread is love because the moment our time runs out, all these adventures, all these experiences, all these relationships, all that is gone. I robbed myself of my youth. Now I'm stuck with an adult body, still growing up. It's stupid. For years, we just keep killing each other, stepping on each other, and it's very rare to show love to one another. Call me soft. I don't give a shit. I live a different life. I'm not a gangster anymore. I don't even think I ever was. I was just a kid who turned into an adult. All this time, I was just surviving. All the gangsters I know are in jail or dead, some with full-blown AIDS, and some are just forgotten, left behind. I guess it's true: life's a bitch, and then you die.
