@@ObviousYM The kick and drum sound more like a 909 than a 808. An 808's kick is basically a sine wave with a long decay and a tick. For the snare, it's more difficult but it uses 2 sine waves, one tuned at 185Hz (F#3), the other one at 370Hz (F#4), combine both with a noise channel. For hi hats, take Streets of Rage 2 as an example of 808-like hi-hats, the trick for that sound is the aliasing.
ObviousYM, I asked Ygor G how I can make the FM Sawtooth, the one that has a sine wave & a horizontal white line one the right. He told me that he used a script online called “Wavetable Calculator” I told him that it doesn’t have the FM preset. It only has FDS, N106, HES & SCC.
this is so cool keep up the great work your work is very impressive! sound design is something I recently got into and just can't get enough of!
Definitely impressive considering the vastly different sound capabilities
imagine more drum machines sound on the 2612 or other fm chip
How about the 909?
i think this is totally meant to be part of a cover of 808 Love by LMan? super sick!
now that you mention it, it does sound like it
Very good!!
Nice OPN2 FM replication of the 808 drums!😄🤩😎👌
Sounds a lot like "Stealthy Steps" from Streets of Rage's Stage 6! I like it!
cowbell with one channel scary
Just wow... It's amazing...
the world seems smaller every day
I remade the TR909 snare and kick on the genesis as FM. Sounds lightyears better on Streets of Rage 2 than the TR909 DAC samples.
how the FUUCKKKKK
The sounds above aren't from the 808 minus the stick sound and cowbell.
I’m just trying to emulate the 808 that’s all

He also said that he pasted everything to Furnace.
