    With the turn signals, you can just hold the button down (left or right) and it will keep the turns signals on until you let go.

      @@MrSpeedyduck that’s a personal question! I take mine on the street and I don’t have to bring it on a bus or anything so the size hardly bothers me. Sucks I can’t really get it into my car easily though. But I love it! I wouldn’t feel as comfortable riding on rough roads with any other scooter.

    As someone who fixes these kinds of scooters for a living... Stop dropping your throttle so much.. If the gloves are making it harder to properly move your throttle and use the controls then DONT wear them.. This is not a motorcycle where you have vibrations and higher speeds to need such thick gloves. So stop abusing your throttle by just letting it spring back every time. You want it to last don't you? Segway is not known for good repair support. Sorry to come off as a bit mean but its very expensive and hard to watch when it looks like the owner doesn't care that much. Ride safe!

    • @DrBernieBabylon
      @DrBernieBabylon  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I appreciate the heads up! A firmware update just dropped that makes the throttle less jumpy, hope that helps! I’ll be more mindful of this. It’s more the fact that I’m always holding the front brakes that makes using the throttle a bit tricky 😅

    Watching this video I understand how this will be soon restricted to ridiculous level.
    I rode super bikes for many years and I’ve just ordered P60 for commute because of ridiculous parking price in Miami.
    So let me explain something.
    1. Many European countries already restricted and even forbid use of electric scooters on public roads.
    2. I have no idea why you are ignoring designated bicycle lane and using full traveling lane, oh… I got it. You are big boy now. When you’ll hit a car - you’ll damage it tremendously.
    3. I don’t understand why you need going 40mph on the road in California, NY or South Florida on this cheesy thing (even beefy GT2 is nothing compare to anything that using public roads weigh wise and safety wise) where drivers are notorious for disregarding bikes, bicycles, etc.
    Don’t get me wrong. I will unlock maximum speed on my scooter. For some situations when it might be needed. But not for every minute ride. It’s just stupid to expose yourself to such a danger.
    4. You don’t need a racing gloves. I understand you think that $3,500 scooter needs $250 -$400 gloves. It’s not. Yes, it’s OK to wear protection. But when you start looking like a dirt bike enduro racing star - people who see you think that you are operating a rocket. Dangerous rocket. And that’s got to be regulated. Restricted. Forbidden.
    It’s just the way majority of people think.
    In conclusion I think that because of clueless people this e-scooter thing in US will go drone path. They will limit it to 15mph ( like already done in Europe ). They will make you go pay for license to operate. And some states will let you use only parks or private roads ( like some countries in Europe already did).
    My apologies for negative reaction. I just want to be able to commute to my work with 20-25mph speed and no restrictions from the government. And when I want my adrenaline rush - I’ll hope on Ducati and lean it in the turns so there is no chicken stripes on my tires.
