Courage got shadow reworked, it gives you 30 defense and its STACKABLE and give you 60 for a good amount of time if used on the same person twice, it also not one time use
tbh, i feel like the stick keeps getting thrown under the bus just because it's the "weakest weapon" or because people don't like being a supportive team member it's honestly pretty good and is one of the more fun weapons to play with
@@skell6134spare and flex seem like very potent abilities for taking on hp characters…. if you have a team. this weapon is team oriented so unfortunately if everyone else dies instantly youre generally better off picking something else sadly
5:30 perseverance scythe should've been the example . critical low hp dmg is 330 using flex on the low hp per scythe = 495 multiplied by 2 with the spare is 990 damage.
one thing that should be kept in mind is that i'm relatively sure all the damage buffs work on Glitch, an RNG weapon that can have a maximum damage (with bravery) of 450 (this is the current highest i have gotten). so if you do some math.. say the fight just started and someone landed a Talk + Pose roughly 30% spare meter + 50% Flex + Glitch + Bravery (my current average is 260 damage) you have a very innocent 507 damage after landing effectively 2-3 ACT's with the right RNG We love Glitch + Stick
And if you have a sanses 99% spare meter and you have 2 sticks and 1 glich stick and the opponent is a hp character and has max hp, you can take a one shot using the same skills. bc 1k+ dmg min max 1500 and that two hit dustbelief.
pro tip: flirting with littletale to stun him is the best tactic against him due to his ability to outrun the chara team whenever he feels like it and potentially stall out the timer
Yesterday i was bored so i got a friend with real knife and i had stick well we did not do much with it because we got bad sans's to do this on but we did kill a outer in only 15s
As a stick veteran, i am really annoyed by the fact that i cant really support anyone, so i have to do a useless explaining for my team, like every time i use courage on them, they just continue to play normally like nothing happened, but i have to buff them right before their attack for them to deal extreme damage to sans. So in.conclusion, i think that they are just dummies that are still thinks that stick is nothing and a bad weapon for newbies. Thats all
Most likely they just don't know how stick works. Maybe bad telegraphy that people won't even mention being buffed by courage or something. It's actually pretty much the same situation with every other support weapon, that u don't even need it that much than damager weapons and u won't have anyone to support.
Press e to counter which has a extremely short time, so you gotta time it perfectly to get it off, press r while mid air for example while your mid jump to punch the ground and send you flying backwards, this can be useful to get to sans faster if your far for example going backwards and jumping and using R, you can also use R to lunge forwards, if you use lunge into sans, you hit sans based on where u timed your attack, if you timed it near the ends, you do 50, if you get abit closer to the middle you do 100, get even closer you do 150 and if you time it perfectly in the middle you do 200 damage.
Pretty enough to talk about how to counter attacks correctly. When u use it, u get stunned and won't be able to walk into attacks, u should predict them coming onto u from the beginning. On bone zones, u either get the right timing when they pop out of the ground. Or when there's already activated bone zone, u should jump over the bone zone and when u're above it, use counter, fall, get dmg and counter successfully. Otherwise when you'll activate counter inside bone zone, you'll get more dmg by entering it and also CAN FAIL COUNTER BECAUSE DMG IFRAMES ARE LONGER THAN COUNTER DURATION. So ye, it might be irritating. Or dmg hitboxes or whatever they're called. Literally the same with puddles like science's aid, killer's gloop/void and hardmode insanity's madness blood void, tho they're easier to enter. Bone spins are even either cuz u can enter them easily and get the right timing easily, their dmg hitboxes aren't that consistent unlike bone zones. On bone throws instead of using counter simply in front of bone throw barrage, be careful. To counter bone throw correctly, u should have distance and use counter in front of a single flying bone towards u. Otherwise it's really random and unpredictable. They're pretty difficult to counter And the easiest, blasters. Pretty much the same as bone zone, but they are far easier to predict their timing of firing and they have much shorter dmg s. Never counter blue attacks and u can always counter orange attacks, cuz u're stunned and standing still during counter. Good example is Revenge's bone spin with orange and blue bones. Map attacks like bone sliders or bone walls must be easy, I won't even explain, u shouldn't even enter them cuz they just come onto u. I think it's enough. I don't have any experience of countering any melee dmg tho, soooo Tough glove is my fav weapon at the moment, I used it like dozens times in a row learning how it works. It can be irritating with low attack range and incredibly short counter duration, but really interesting honestly.

I can now imagine people fucking using 2 sticks and buffing a dull knife user right now.
imagine if furious gave a speed boost and sans was slowed too
I remember saving a guy using courage on him from that chain + gaster blasters fell combo, that almost dealt no dmg to him lol
Imagine if you get spare to 100 and you literally spare the character and the game ends
Omg yes dear god yes SOMEONE IS SHOWING THAT STICK IS ONE OF THE BEST THINGS IN THE GAME, really hope people start to use it now
I enjoyed working on this for the brief time I did
ig its time to become a stick main

stick was a bit more enjoyable with the non menu dodge, but i can see why they had to change it to make it balanced
It’s actually lot better now, as you can save the dodge for stronger attacks, for example low tier fell’s thunder strike
