It tells a story in itself, in other words. Makes every match feel like a narrative with an appropriate flow of rising action and climax. Love it.

Sei lá, mas acho que se fizesse uma ring stage para Blanka seria mais da hora pela história que o personagem tem na franquia. Sem contar que aquela stage clássica do Blanka na margem do rio Solimões é mítica!!
Didn't know about the censorship of the location until reading the comments here, kind of wack. If you're going to replace a landmark like that then just pick a different area for the stage.

While I respect that opinion, I disagree; there's something about Laura's theme that just feels unique and different, and this doesn't possess it. That said, which is the more true to 'Brazilian' style music, this or Laura's theme?
@@darkcarnival1805 Laura's theme is a bunch of annoying butt trumpets and then turns into a Tekken song. This was the track 90% of early SFV streams used as background music, for good reason.
+yotatouch The stage looks really good, it's just missing the police and the shoot-outs. Brazilian joke, Rio De Janeiro has a lot of gangs and outlaws.
I know this is almost one year late, but it's going to actually bother me if I don't say something. Anyway, in the description, it states that the dude who uploaded this video drew the stage from scratch to remove the characters, or anything else that doesn't fit in the stage. Hope that clears up the slightly watered down appearance.

It is a shame. Religious figures are common on street fighter stages, however they thought it was a good idea to erase the Cristo Redentor.
Facts, keep the original landmark or don't put it in at all if you're going to pander to sensitive people
