I love the Pilot 823 as well. I just leave the vac seal unscrewed all the time, even when I’m not writing with it - that way ink is always in the feed. Great video.
I totally get what you mean about wanting the tactile aspects of the writing experience to match the aesthetic aspects of the experience. Not much you can do when the tactile mismatch is how the pen feels in the hand, like the Ferris Wheel Brush Pen, and not just how the nib writes. Hope you can get the Pelikan nib to be what you want! That Walltown pen is stunning - thank you for sharing a small maker with us.

Yes! I am in the process of learning Spanish. The book I chose to transcribe is Orgullo Prieto by Tenoch Huerta. It's very interesting and I'm learning a lot.
I tend to go for vibrant pens and inks, but these are all very pretty! I'm seriously tempted to buy an Estie Raven.

You could always get the Pelikan nib ground down to a finer size. Go to any pen show. OTOH, I love my M800 with a broad nib!

I understand not being comfortable with the FWP pen. I’m also not comfortable writing with thin pens.
