I did a LOT of hand scissor cutting of those Hostess cards back in the 70's. Loved 'em. Talking oddball advertisement sets, I also loved the Kellogg's 3-D cards from the 70's. Ah... memories.
I love vintage cards. Nothing like seeing a 1960 60 70s 80s and 90s star rookie PSA case even if it's a 3.
What a great card show! I really enjoy seeing the card show videos, I have been to 3 shows here in Florida, in the 6 years that I have lived here. The real big shows are up in Tampa and are crazy expensive just to get in the door. The small ones near me are fun, but nothing like this one. Really appreciate the great content Jabs! 🙏
I used to cashier at Kroger and I'd always spot some coin gems. They would always let me swap coins for the collectible ones. I can still spot silvers like no other! My love for coins started when I spotted an Indian Head Penny from the 1900's and I've been learning ever since.
I’m constantly on the lookout for silver quarters n dimes in circulation I’ve came across a decent amount unfortunately my old lady didn’t kno wat they were n spent some of them a few yrs back but I’ve found some as recently as last yr just buying stuff n getting change n wen I seen them they jump out of my hand it feels like I won the lotto every time 😂

The '73 Jackson is his MVP year and that was a nice grab for $10. ANY original issue Graded Koufax is worth getting. That was my favorite part of the video.
Henderson reminds me of a pawn shop buy I did in 2016. 5 binders fulls of 70’s and 80’s stars including RC’s. The last page of the first binder had all 1980 Henderson’s. I graded all of them 1 PSA 8, 4 PSA 7’s, 3 PSA 6’s. I paid $20 for all of them

I have a 1975 King Dons uncut complete Hostess box with Robin Yount on it. I have dozens of uncut panels with Rose, Ryan, Schmidt, etc. Those were the good ole days.
A lot of great cards!!! Really cool to see affordable old coins too. I collected stamps in addition to baseball cards as a kid
Erik, I share the same frustration you have for stickers on slabs. My entire motivation for creating my product was because my dad has a habit of putting stickers on all his toploaders 😄

Tamper-Evident Price tags are the worst!! It's like 6 to 8 mini stickers that rip and tear and smudge. The thrift shop always does this to their Vinyl and it drive me nuts!! ...One more price tag anecdote, I bought a card from a young kid at a garage sale that was an on-card auto and he had the sticker right on the card! 🤣 The original price was also scribbled out and a new price written as well... had to share that
The card store in my town when I was a kid was called McKey coins, video rentals in the front the middle was sports card's and the back was all coins. Loved that store as a kid
I remember at card shows here in Florida back in the 1980's and 90's, the grab bags were banned/Outlawed because they were a form of a lottery system

Not sure if someone already answered, but the Liberty V (Victory) was a nickel! Those were before the buffalo nickel. The coin shops here in central Texas sell them for 1 dollar and the most of the buffalo nickels are 75 cents. If you are going to get back into collecting coins, google coin shops in western PA. 😀👍

on the '88 Donruss blister packs, just cut them into 3 sections, ezzie-pezzey!
If you are careful you can get rid of the residue with lighter fluid ( not the stuff for barbecues). I have used this method on toys with price stickers. Check to see what it may due to the case on something similar to make sure it doesn't fog the case. Don't think it should.
wd-40 on a tissue works wonders no prob on the slabs either

Wish the shows around me had alot of vintage. I usually see 2010-2022 at the shows :(

you could give the case away to kids put it in your shop and people that come into the shop with children give the kids a free pack and introduce them to the hobby
