Love the video. I appreciate you putting out there that you're learning and growing as a videographer. I'm considering doing something like this coming soon. Any thoughts or things you wish you knew starting out?
Just saw this video today and I mean 0 hate. I’ve been heavy into vw since 2005. Met my wife of 16 years at a vw meet. But if you want advice based off this video I’d say hit record way before and way after you want to stop. I’d also say to learn cars. If you go to a European meet (saying this as a vw not a bmw guy) you should know transitioning from a close up shot of a new car to and old car in the same shot is weird. I get the thought process but in vw speak it’s like doing 5 angles highlighting a mk6 and then 1 shot of the same body line into a Mk2 is weird. He uses the song changes nicely going black and that would be a good time to transition between body styles. Even front end to fine end would be cool. Don’t base any of my advice on my content. Shooting whiskey and animals is a whole other thing. I’m just nicely saying you asked this a lot time ago and people gate keep so I wanted to help out the new guy. Know what you are shooting and how it should come together. Other than that, embrace your style. Don’t try to be like anyone else. We have enough of the same music car videos. I’d advise doing something fun with some synth wave music. Try it out and do what you like. Video creation is in the eye of the person making it. None of us are right. We all just vibe and make content. Cheers bro
