A series of small solar powered desalinators would give most business local stores fresh water all year long. The school is charming off shore visitors should bring basic school supplies as gifts. Pens pencils lined paper notebooks graph paper markers et all the usuals are all imported and hard to buy on island. A small cash grant to the school would go far there. I have visited San Andres Island, *Baru Island off Cartagena, and beachfront casita in Bquilla ALL BEAUTIFUL Lived n Rodedero in Santa Marta as volunteer. Colombia ia lovely country. A few well spent budget dollars the island would prosper wisely. * San Andres Island is much different in form and function. RS
