here is a tactic i've used even tho im also pretty bad at rts im pretty sure if you do something like that you can win even if you are terrible i have played a game today vs easy ai 1v1 and i havent played wc3 normally since like 2-3 years ago (i only played it because of rpg maps) but i destroyed him by just buying tinkerer, spamming ghouls to cut wood and everytime i've had enough of them i would just bring them with my hero to fight and if they died i got more, i was researching literally everything and eventually i've made some frost wyrms to finish him also try killing as many green camps as possible with your hero to lvl up and get at least 1 gold mine (other than the one you start with)
The problem is this strat is weak against early game aggression from the other team. The blademaster is at least better early game in harassing and fending off a bit of harassment. If the other team basically lets you do this strategy for free, yeah the TC would work better.

It's usually me carrying by myself early game before raiders because the other guy has no army and went straight teched. Then when he does have raiders, they do no damage and get wrekt anyways in team fights. So the game becomes the guy trying to justify his strategy by constantly doing hit and runs, losing a ton of raiders in the process and gaining very little. Eventually we lose because the other team's heroes are well fed on suicidal raiders and they have a much stronger late game composition.
No, because like I said, the orc has nothing early game except for that BM before he gets to his double beastiary t2. Any competent team would realize the lack of army and basically slaughter you 2v1.
