    It is 148wh, if you use AC to charge the PC, the DC must first be converted through the inverter to AC, you lose about 15% of the energy in heat.
    Then AC must be converted back to DC via the charging chip for the PC, here you typically lose 10% energy, then you have lost a total of 25% and have 111 wh left.
    This is completely normal.
    The point with this is if you don't need that much power, obviously since it is small.
    In addition, you can connect a solar panel to it, and then you can produce and have access to electricity, for example in the middle of the forest.
    If you plan to operate a refrigerator in the middle of the forest, this is obviously too small.
    If you're going out into the woods for a night, then of course a regular power bank is better.
    However, if you are going to be in the forest for a long time, this combined with a solar panel is better.

    Good review. Amazing how words are used to confuse. Just to make the product sound better.

      It can be pretty deceptive. I was a math nerd as a kid and throughout my career so I kinda knew this unit would not be great. For instance, the 148wH, 40,000mAH (40aH) spec was taken at 3.7v (the USB output... not the 12v or 110v outputs. With a pretty easy formula (aH = wH/v) that figure is reduced to 12.3aH at 12 volts, and 1.34aH at 110v. So basically, this unit would die at a full 200w load in 1.34 hours. This unit would run a 1000w microwave for about 15 minutes.

    Hey Barry really informative video, while I like that you tell us the product names, I recommend leaving links to the products. Also recommend getting an affiliate link so that when somebody clicks the links and/or buys you can get a commission

      Thank you very much for the thoughtful reply, Joe! I am actually going to go ahead and add the product link with a big "***disclaimer***". The reason that I don't add links when the result of a review goes like this is that I don't want there to be an impression of me endorsing or even liking the product. My thought was that people would find this video by searching for it on YT after seeing the product on Amazon or wherever... and I was right. 92.6% of the views have come from direct or external searches for a review of this product... and this vid has a steady climb in views that has not slowed down. As far as affiliate links go, there will be a couple coming soon on products that I actually believe in. I'm definitely not going to try to earn from products that I, myself, don't trust. Know what I mean? Thanks for your kind words and ideas. I truly appreciate it!

    Great review. I am more interested in it's 110vac capabilities.

      I never ran it through the paces, but by my calculations, it will run a 60 wat 110v bulb for about 2.5hrs. That's not much, particularly at this price point.

    I'm looking to buy. Can I blow up a queen size air mattress? And did u get the solar panels?

    • @BarryP
      @BarryP  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Why don't you just get a battery powered air pump? It would be a lot cheaper. And, no... I didn't test the solar panels.

    Can it run an ink jet printer? Or a laser printer?

    • @BarryP
      @BarryP  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sure. I have no idea how long... but I doubt a printer would exceed 200w.

    How long can run my ring light in this ?

    • @BarryP
      @BarryP  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's hard to say, without knowing the current draw of your light. If that's all you're looking to run, you'd likely be better off with a compact power brick, such as something like this: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B091BSG9GS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1 It's a got a percentage meter in 1% increments, so you'll know exactly where you're at. If it doesn't run long enough for you, you could always return it and upgrade. Again, if you're just trying to power a ring light, that my be the better way to go, especially economically.
