my theory for the longest time was that baek kyungs brother was the writer.... he seemed to know what was going on but it was never explained how or why he knew...

this was the first drama i finished. i watched this until it was over without any breaks in between, and i watched A LOT of dramas. sure, Extraordinary You has plot holes, unanswered questions, and repetitive scenes, but it made me question how i was living my life. i really despised the writer (until now) buuuut s/he is just like any of us. s/he was just making a story, probably unaware of the universe inside his/her drawings.
everyone acted so well that their characters grew on me and the plot was so interesting that made me really love the drama.
For the repetitive scenes i just thought it was supposed to mirror real life comic books where one scene happens again and again in different ways. I also have a lot of questions for this because the concept is so interesting. But i understand why they ended this here, it was a soft and fluffy drama in the end.

actually, if you think about it, they were brought back as nameless extras in another comic. this would allow them to live as they please without being obligated to do as the writer wants. they can be their own people and spend time with each other. 💕
They are extras, however they don't know when the writer can stop drawing them and then they'll dissapear... They don't know if in the Next story they won't see each other or one of them have to die.... It's a bittersweet situation, they can stop existing whenevet the author want... SO sad.

This ending is so sad, even thought Dan Oh and Haru live happily now as nameless extra, they are still just a character in comic, when the third comic ended they will dissapear again. Why cannot they make magical ending like the comic world still continue as shadow without stage anymore, This ending broke my heart,, 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

This drama is going to cm in tv from tomorrow (11 Oct 2021) in Tata sky 826 and the channel name is zing. I think it will help to watch and it is hindi dubbed. I came here to see if it is happy ending or sad ending. It is a happy ending now I will see. It will cm at 2 pm every Monday to Friday.

I wish the ending was slightly different, like after they hug that turns into a illustration of them panning out of a computer with stacks of papers of scripts around it and you see someone ( the writer ) typing on the computer but only the back of them I think that would of been a great ending since unless they were very ordinary looking, you would be able to tell who the writer is. That would of broke the 4th wall and it would add a charm to the end as if they are just in a dimension not the real world, like their story was the actual book of them in the books of that makes sense

Since they're both nameless extras now, they can't be called on to the stage because they do not have a role, they can live happily together in the shadow. I just wish they keep getting reborn as nameless extras that way they can be free, or as leads next time.
I've given this a thought, I know its cliche but it would be nice if they *reborn in the real world* and they find "Trumpet Creeper" and "Secret" in the library saying it looks so familiar and feels nostalgic even though they haven't seen it before.
They'll eventually meet and remember all of their past memories together as comic characters. They won't have to worry doing something out of their will, playing a certain character, or worrying about getting erased from the story and hoping to get drawn next time so they can meet again.
They're real and free now. It's just my own version of the ending that would've been nice :)

I dont personally think this is the ending,,
1. They are still controlled by the author
2. Who is the author?
3. We all still want to hear the backstory of the other characters and more love story for haru and dan oh
4. Who is Squid Fairy? What is his backstory?
I think in this ending, they are extras, so now they can live happily in the shadows, that's why is a "happy ending". However we know this is not the end because once the story is over they have to live again and we don't know if they might be separated again...

Dried Squid Fairy was explained already. He was in the previous comic where he also tried to change his fate but died. Who the author is doesn’t matter as to the storyline because it ain’t about him/her but yeah it would’ve been cool if we saw a little snapshot or final ending scene of the author in the real world drawing a scene or something.

I was satisfied with the ending except for the fact that they didn't show DO HWA in the end, he is my favorite character such a beacon of positivity and sunshine.

I think because this is a new story because Shin Sae Mi asked who Oh Nam Joo is even though the whole school knew him in the comical world of “Secret”. The writer probably didnt reuse Do Hwa, Baek Gyeong and Joo Da because its a fresh new story. But i would have rather preferred at the very least Do Hwa to be included in this new story and for Shin Sae Mi to be friends with Eun Dan Oh
When he came out from behind the tree I was like "holy crap he's tall as hell"
she actually had to stand on an apple box for most of the scenes because he was too tall for her
My theory is the ending is in fact in the real world and the butterfly that flies and lands on what Dan Oh was holding is to symbolise the butterfly effect and how time is relative and that the whole comic book was of an alternate universe and somehow they are aware of the alternate universe and so have their memories of it and are now together in the real world which isn't controlled by a nasty book author haha
Dan Ohs locker doesn't have her name on it, so I always assumed that she's nameless in the new Manhwa and can live happily in the shadows with Haru

I read a lot of tragedy books, in that how character die and suffer, after watching this drama, i started feeling that every character in books must've felt like Dan Oh and Haru 😭, if I ever write stories, I will make sure every character in the book gets happy ending😭😭😭

Oh ! I thought that the writer revealed his/her self in the ending of this episode. I thought they will be in the real world and not in the comics world..
Im glad that these two end up together after what they've been through. Haru character might be plain and not really interested unlike baekyung but at least we can see that how much Haru love his girl. He always there for Danoh. He's the definition of perfect boyfriend. Kinda feel bad for Baekyung but it was too late for him when he realised his feelings towards Danoh so can't blame Danoh for for not choosing him in the end. Im forever team DanHaru
