Fastorslow hasn't got a prayer in the Gold Cup. Corach Rambler wouldn't be sighted so why would that creature get close? Gerri Colombe is made for the Gold Cup.
Massive Corach Rambler fan, but couldn’t agree more, and fastorslow isn’t even worth a mention. Gerri had so much to do first time out this year and only got better the further they went. The extra distance will work a treat and he’s the only serious threat to GDC in the gold cup.
I would say it’s nailed on the owner wants him to go for the race. Let’s be honest he’s not going to win the Gold Cup, so why not try to win everything else? Can see the logic in that.
Had a few quid on Ballyburn for the Albert Bartlett as his pedeigree is full of stamina (by flemensfirth out of an Old Vic mare). Also, he's owned by Ronnie Bartlett! Surely he wants to win the races he sponsored!
love Gavin Lynch but a few way off takes on this show - it seems Gold Cup 23 has ripped the hearts out of GDC, BMG, Conflated (to lesser extent) and Protekorat - couldn't have any of them in 24 renewal.
