From the view of understanding Korean, the music sounds the same, and isn't a big difference. I think it's also the contrast between the lyrics with the age-appropriate attire/makeup and playful choreography that made the inappropriateness of the Newjeans video even more apparent and creepy. When Ador took the song's original English lyrics and translated everything but the most problematic lines into Korean, they made it impossible for native English speakers to ignore the nastiness while transforming the words into innocent nonsense for most Korean listeners.
