ChixBoy is a sister restaurant of Lantaw Native Restaurant and Top of Cebu Restaurants as they are owned by the same company. Other restaurants they operate are Shaka Hawaiian Restaurant, Mismukuno (Japanese Restaurant), House of Lechon, Mooon Cafe (Mexican), Cafe Racer, Sushi Boy, Yahay (Food Park in Minglanilla) as well as fruit juice bars such as Thirsty Juices, Fruitfall and Pina and Summers Halo-Halo Bar. They operate and own BRIGHT Academy, an international school in Banilad.

You might try the pioneers in mountain-top restaurants concepts in Cebu which have been there since 1980s such as Mr. A Bar & Restaurant (and Mr. A Pizzeria), La Tegola (Italian Restaurant) and Chateau de Busay Inn & Restaurant. They're all located in Busay, just a short pedal apart from each other and they can be accessed from TCH. They're the pioneers in dine-with-a-view concept in Cebu.

Aside from chicken wings, breast is also my favorite part of the chicken to eat. Try Lumpia ni Senyang in Lapu-Lapu City located near Birhen sa Regla church and at the back of SACS. It is not a fancy resto but an eatery but the lumpia is so good because of the sauce. All time favorite in Lapu-Lapu City especially during high school days in the 90's.

Chixboy is a very novel idea for naming a restaurant. I think, Chixboy is lifted from a popular Filipino slang "Chick-boy" referring to a serial heartbreaker/ womanizer. From there, it has jokingly evolved to "Chick-boy", pwede sa chicks (can be with girls), pwede sa boy (can be with boys), ha ha.
It's named after the main product that they offer: chicken and pork (baboy in Cebuano) bbq.
@@lionhearted1969 Yes I understand that the name is from the main products of the restaurant. Just explaining the very popular Filipino slang "chick-boy" as it rhymes with Chixboy.

Only if they have. Some fastfood stores only sell smaller parts to save on cost. For example, they only have either breast (pecho), wings or drumstick. All are smaller parts. Gone were the days when they serve thighs, the biggest and most requested part.

Yes its true, when I took a bite as I was looking over the view, it did taste about 10% better than when I wasnt looking hahaha. Spongebob needed a bath, had to switch it up haha

That prompted me to comment on your post that why were you surprised when they're in Cebu and not in Manila. I was wondering if you're aware that Cebuanos speak Cebuano, not Tagalog. Because if you're aware that Cebuanos speak Cebuano, then you won't be surprised if the waitstaff gave him the chicken thigh as Cebuano language is different from Tagalog language. Maybe you might have used the wrong word for your reaction. You could have simply said 'Now I learned that the Cebuano for chicken thigh is 'PA-a' whose stress is in the first syllable. In Tagalog 'paa' which is chicken foot, the stress is in the second syllable 'pa-A'. There are words in Cebuano and Tagalog languages with similar spelling but have different pronunciation and meaning.

@@WeWander your welcome. I’m an optometrist and your eyes should be the center of the glass. Where did you buy those glasses?
This are actually just temporary. We got in a motorcycle accident at the end of last year and my old frames broke in half, so I had to quickly get the lenses put in new frames as I could not wait for (or afford to buy) new glasses. These were basically the only frames my old lenses would fit into. I plan to replace them soon.

I HATE using titles like this, but if you dont you will get like 3 times less views. It's just how it is, we learned this the hard way back in the day when we would use normal titles. Also I mean they are still pretty new and are very new to most people since as you said it is trending. We do our best to not be misleading but also still be able to get clicks. We thought they are new enough for the title to work. Also trending really isnt as searched as new. Its just SEO. If you have suggestions for a different name for the video that will still get clicks, let me know haha, I will gladly change it as tbh I also don't like this name.

I also think that your channel is one of those to watch out for, and upon reading you use titles like this, it is disappointing really and it kinda seems, for me, to be quiet insincere. It's like you're doing vlogs to get views only rather than to share a truthful experience or details to your subscribers/ viewers.

We think it is okay to be a bit sensational with titles to get more views, not because we want to be famous, but because it will help more people to learn about these places we visit. We think its worth it to be able to expose these areas to the most amount of people who may be interested in visiting them as possible. We really do this to help people find new things, and help the spots themselves grow. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
