With Richard on the run with the Platts in his car, Martin (Gail’s ex husband) gave chase with his friends. Sarah has bought a pair of sissors with her and cut David free, David launches himself and Richard whilst he was driving which made him swerve across the road. He then (as intended) Crashed into the same canal that David has crashed into a few years later. David’s childhood messed him up REALLY bad and he clearly needed therapy.
