- In June 2023, I started to record all the food my mom has cooked in the past year. This happened because my siblings and I sometimes forget the names of the food and had to describe them to our mom. Also, my nieces are picky eaters, and when ever they want my mom to cook a certain dish, they don't know the name or how to describe it.
My parents are Vietnamese so we say the food in Viet whenever my mom cooks something.
As a joke, I told my family that I will record and list all the food my mom will make in the future. Since then, I kept recording and didn't think much about it.
After posting my 99th video, I realized that my next one will be my 100th video. I thought about what video to make. Then, I remembered that I've been recording my mom's cooking for almost a year now. That's when it clicked, and I decided that this will be my special 100th video.

Even as I was editing this video, my mom kept cooking new food. Luckily, there were some footage that were similar, so I could combine them with another food dish on the list or take it out and replace it with a new one. Also, it was a challenge to find music with a good beat to showcase all the food.
Throughout the whole recording process, there were times where I forgot to record the food.
Maybe I'll make another video in the future to include them.
