Bohemian Rhapsody is a MASTERPIECE!!! Queen is a top percent an AMAZING band!! When Bohemian Rhapsody came out I bought the lyrics and I was 17 it is the only song that I ever bought the lyrics to and I am now 63 and I still love Queen and several other awesome bands !!!!!! I am a rocker!!!
Let me introduce you the Queen: Freddie Mercury the lead singer and pianist, Brian May the guitarist, John Deacon the bassist and Roger Taylor the drummer, they all were highly graduated. Queen is the most versatile rock band, they wrote their own stuff in several genres from rock to jazz, to pop, etc. about 200 songs. Freddie never took singing lessons, but his powerful and emotional performances are still legendary. Freddie had 3 unfinished songs and then he put them together into this masterpiece. Great reaction, thanks.
Sorry for my intrusion but, to me, after all, Freddie was a singer of songs and a lover of love. After 32 years since he left, still miss him every single day. What an outstanding man!
Welcome to the wonderful world of Queen! In this song he's not saying "Mama just killed a man". He's saying Mama, (I) just killed a man." This song is an iconic piece of musical creativity that only Queen could do. With my personal opinion, excluding a very few songs, their entire catalog is good. I strongly recommend that you watch "Somebody To Love" and "Save Me" live in Montreal and "White Queen" live at the Hammersmith Odeon. White Queen will break your brain. All of the songs I just mentioned are live for a reason. Almost all of their live songs are far better than the studio. There are a few that I personally would recommend the studio versions instead, but Queen was one of the rare bands who were just better live. You need to step into that rabbit hole. Queen fans will follow you down and direct you to the very best music ever. A side benefit for you is that your subscriber base will go crazy. Many fans, including me, sift through reactions to find Queen and when they find them they pay attention. So sit back, buckle up, hands and feet inside the ride at all times!
I'm a New Zealand woman almost 70. This was our anthem travelling around England and Europe in our VW van, when i was in my early twenties. Love seeing younger generations find the magic we were privileged to enjoy way back then. Really enjoyed your reaction.
This single nearly didn't get released, because the radio stations didn't want to play anything over 3 minutes long. It smashed the British charts for months - nobody had heard anything like it before. Couldn't really dance to it, but it was one of those tracks you could put on late into the party, eyes closed with the lights down, and absorb the sheer intricacies of the musicianship. Beautiful time to be alive back then.
"Another One Bites the Dust" "Under Pressure" "We Are the Champions" "We will Rock You" all huge classics by them that you probably have heard out and about. Anyways that's actually a banger list to start with for them
Freddie Mercury was working on writing three songs when he had the genius inspiration to combine them into this epic masterpiece. The very beginning with the "singing heads" is really just Freddie harmonizing with himself. He was telling his Momma that he had killed a man, not that she did. Welcome to the world of QUEEN, you're going to love it.
Live Aid. Full set. Is over 20minutes long. But don't worry, we Queenies love it and will watch the entire thing with you. Many people consider it the best concert performance of all time. Be careful though when you pick the video to react to. There is a version going around that has been cut terribly. Look for the version that is just over 22minutes 30seconds.
This song is considered one of the greatest songs ever written! I’ll be a loyal subscriber just to see you do more Queen songs! They have so many great ones. They are one of the greatest bands of all time! Check out Somebody To Love live in Montreal from 1981! Roger Taylor the drummer also has a magnificent voice. I’ll recommend more as you go! Good luck ! Great reaction by the way! So the band consists of Freddie Mercury on piano and lead vocals, Brian May on guitar, John Deacon on bass and Roger Taylor on drums. All are masters at what they do and they all wrote songs for the band. You have probably heard of queen before, but didn’t realize it. They wrote We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions, both of which have been played at sports, arenas and stadiums for the last 40+ years.
Queen is four members. All are extremely talented and educated. The opening sequence with the four heads singing in harmony was all done by lead singer Freddie Mercury by layering multiple tracks of himself. He was a musical genius, can’t wait to see what else you react to, enjoy
This is one of my all time favorite reactions to Queen. When you say, "This is magical" and "This is beautiful", you have absolutely captured how we all felt the first time hearing this. It is absolutely magical and beautiful and to think the producers fought them about making it. I encourage you to also listen to Love of My Life from Rock n Rio (I believe it was 1985). The audience in Rio doesn't speak English but they know the words to every song and sing it to Freddie (the lead singer). Queen had to push to go. They were told Rio was too dangerous and their safety couldn't be assured, but they knew they had fans there and went anyway. It was two concerts with about 150,000 people at each concert. It is magical and well worth seeing.
Daveeezy your reaction is *fire*! Great to see someone actually standing up and interacting with the song 🙂Take a deep dive into Queen--they do not disappoint!
Welcome to Queen. Everyone finds this song sooner or later in their lifetime and their brain spins out when hearing it for the first time. I remember hearing this as a kid. I’m 52 now but I was about 8 when my little brother dragged me to the TV when they were on playing. Whatever song they were playing ended and my brother was so sad I missed out, it then this song began. Our eyes were so big. We couldn’t comprehend what we were listening to. We didn’t know who sang it or what the name was so we called it “that song” A few years ago my daughter came running in the door after school. She was 11 maybe… she was flipping out, had to tell me about this amazing new band she discovered and excited she was because she could see they had a bunch of songs. She set up the speakers and turned it on for me to hear and it was “that song” Her little heart broke when I told her that the band is 50 years old and Freddie died before she was born. She cried, that’s how much this song moved her and moved her again when she learned he was gone. Queen was made up of 4 musical geniuses who wrote these songs together. Freddie was a child prodigy who grew up in Zanzibar playing his piano and singing for people as a kid. He was bullied because of his teeth. No one was caring about his teeth when he was singing his heart and soul out with Queen! They all met in college, were nerdy misfits and created all this genius music together. Dude, I LOVED watching your reaction to this. You get it. It was great watching all the great parts of this piece hit you. You were dancing, singing and confused. Yes! This song does that! You will probably be interested in watching the movie Bohemian Rhapsody that came out a few years ago and won some Oscars. It was created by 2 of the band members. After you watch that, go to Netflix and watch The Show must go on The Queen and Adam Lambert story. Freddie died 30 years ago but 15 years ago Queen made an appearance on American Idol and Adam Lambert, a final contestant sang with them. It was kismet. Now Queen has another gifted Icon singing. They are touring together one last time this year. The only tickets left are VIP or expensive seats but closer to the show there will be lots of resale at face value. Go. There is nothing like a Queen show!!! Their shows are absolutely insane and Adam has one of the most beautiful voices you may ever hear. Adam was trained as a kid, did theater and opera before he started singing with Queen 11 years ago. So good! Same guitarist and drummer. The drummer’s son plays with them too. Thanks for such a great video!
This is an amazing and iconic song. It is hard to believe that this song has been around for nearly 50 years and it is still so relevant. Good musicianship is just good musicianship and Queen are masters at their craft. This exact recording has been #1 in 3 different decades. Queen is a British rock band comprised of four members. Freddie Mercury: Lead Vocals/Piano, Brian May: Lead Guitar/background vocals, John Deacon: Bass. and Roger Taylor: Drums/background vocals. Queen is a genre all their own, they do everything and they do it well. I don't think you will find a bad Queen song and their catalog is over 200 songs. You have heard Queen, you just didn't know it was them. We Will Rock You, We Are The Champions, Another One Bites The Dust, The Show Must Go On, Under Pressure, just a few of their very famous anthems. Queen has a catalog of about 200 songs, all great songs and something like 15 albums. I love this song, and I have been listening to it since it dropped in 1974, I never get tired of it. FYI, Queen doesn't usually block their videos at all. Nobody knows what this song is about, Freddie never said. He had three songs on a similar theme that he hadn't been able to finish so he decided to put them together and form a rhapsody. There are a lot of theories about what the song means, but I just like the song. A rhapsody is like a play, the music tells a story. Here I will go with, there is a crime, then there is judgement then, there is either escape or perhaps imprisonment, but in the end, nothing really matters. Thank you for your wonderful reaction to this song.
I’ve been a Queen fan since I first heard them on the radio in the early ‘70’s when I was a teenager. You can’t go wrong reacting to Queen songs cuz they have so many hits and different styles of music that you never get bored. This reaction of yours was terrific; honestly one of the best ones I’ve seen! Looking forward to more Queen reactions!
When this masterpiece "came out" in 1975, I was just entering high school, and over the decades its meaning has only gotten deeper. What Freddy Mercury did was lay down sophisticated clues about his sexual coming of age, particularly his sexual experiences with other men. When he sings that he pulled his "trigger," he not only refers to having had an orgasm, he refers to that orgasm as breaking such a strong cultural taboo that it was equivalent to suicide. Especially back in the 1970s, but even today, many gay and bisexual people can relate to the constant hatred and condemnation directed at them, often by their own mothers, such that they wish they "had never been born at all." As the song progresses Freddy continues to struggle, trying to reconcile his sexuality and religious upbringing. But then, as alluded to by the crescendo, he reaches a breakthrough moment when he decides that he will accept himself. Still, he quickly discovers that accepting himself is bittersweet because in his new life he can't find a stable, loving relationship. So in the end, he concludes that it doesn't matter if others love or accept him, he will still be at peace, proceeding "any way the wind blows."
I love it when people discover Queen! One of my favorite live performances by them, (and many times their live performances were better than their studio versions), is ‘Somebody to Love’, Montreal, 1981. It’s amazing… You’ll be blown away.
Love the way you react! Like I said, I can't sit down either when I listen to ANY music. Thank you for reacting to this masterpiece! From what I understand, it was a couple of songs Freddie has in his head and melded them together. But in the 70's,(and now) one thing that stuck out was how amazing it sounded with headphones. The play from one ear to the other is sooo cool. Never get tired of it!!
Queen is a British rock band that was formed in 1970 and was comprised of: Freddie Mercury - Lead vocals and piano Roger Taylor - Drummer and vocals Brian May - Lead guitar and vocals John Deacon - Bass guitar "Bohemian Rhapsody" released originally in 1975 is the creation of Freddie Mercury but he never told anyone what he was thinking when he wrote the lyrics. Freddie often wrote in metaphors so I would not suggest trying to take these lyrics literally. He wanted listeners to be able to apply to the song whatever meaning it had to them personally. Not what it meant to him. BTW - Freddie did admit that it was composed of three separate songs that he had been working on but could not seem to finish. So he decided to mash them together, adding some transitions and bridges, and created "Bohemian Rhapsody". "Bohemian Rhapsody" can be broken down into 6 parts: Part I is the "Into". The video image shows the four members of Queen singing and harmonizing the lyrics of the "Intro" in acapella. In reality, it is only Freddie's voice you hear on the recording. Freddie laid down 5 separate tracks of himself singing and harmonizing with himself. (FYI - multi-tracking and overdubbing runs rampant in Bohemian Rhapsody.) Next is the "Ballad" portion of the song ('Mama, just killed a man'). Freddie had worked on this song for years but it never had a name. The other members of Queen tentatively titled it "Freddie's Cowboy Song". The lyrist Tim Rice (who wrote the lyrics for "Jesus Christ, Superstar", "Evita", "Alladin", "The Lion King", ...) who was a close friend of Freddie's believes this portion of the song’s lyrics were about Freddie confessing to his fans that he was gay (a radical and scary thing to do in 1975). The third section is the guitar solo. This is the only part of Bohemian Rhapsody not written by Freddie. Freddie told Brian that he wanted a guitar solo in the song and where he wanted it to fit into the song but left it to Brian to create. Brian wanted to have his guitar effectively sing a verse that would inject a different melody. He heard something in his head. He said that he could hear this melody and had no idea where it came from. That melody isn’t anywhere else in the song, but it’s on a familiar chord sequence, so it dovetails in quite nicely. The guitar solo leads to the fourth section the "Operatic" section. Freddie not only loved Rock but he loved Opera. He was always fascinated with the idea of combining rock and opera. It took 3 weeks to record "Bohemian Rhapsody" and the "Operatic" section was much smaller when they began recording but Freddie kept adding to it. Various lyrics in the "Operatic" section seem to refer to members of the band. Freddie appears to cast himself as the character, Scaramouch, a stock clown of 16th-century Italian literature who dances around making a fool of himself but speaks the truth. Galileo who was an Italian astronomer, physicist, and engineer definitely refers to Brian (Queen's lead guitarist) who in real life is Dr. Brian May, a scholar with a Ph.D. in Astrophysics. Figaro refers to the Mozart opera, "The Marriage of Figaro" and it is a subtle way to reference Roger Taylor (Queen's drummer) who has a four-range vocal span (E2-E6) and was even frequently cited as hitting E5 in live performances while playing the drums. Freddie compared Roger's voice to a dog whistle. The final reference of Magnifico is Queen's bass guitarist, John Deacon, who has a degree in Electrical Engineering with Honors. John is the creator of the "Deacy Amp" which when connected to Brian May's homemade electric guitar (the Red Special) through a treble-booster could produce sounds reminiscent of various orchestral instruments, such as violin, cello, trombone, clarinet, or even vocals. It is hard to realize that it is only Freddie, Brian, and Roger singing in the "Operatic" section (John never sang on the records). This was 1975, well before digital recordings and autotune. Recordings were made using 24-track analog tape. The limits of tape made it necessary for the three vocalists to overdub themselves many times and "bounce" these down to successive sub-mixes. Some sections of Bohemian Rhapsody feature 180 separate overdubs! The fifth section is the "Hard Rock" portion. In this section, Freddie sings angry lyrics addressed to an unspecified "you", accusing them of betrayal and abuse and insisting "can't do this to me, baby", before the final lines conclude with him singing, "just gotta get right outta here". FYI - the "Operatic" and the "Hard Rock" sections of BoRap were featured in a scene in the 1992 film Wayne's World, in which the main character and his friends headbang in a car to the rock part. Because of the success of Wayne's World, Bohemian Rhapsody was re-released in the U.S. in 1992 and rose to Number 2 on the Billboard chart. In the sixth and final section, the "Outro" returns back to the "Ballad" to close the circle of the song and ends with the sound of a Chinese gong. Welcome to the world of Queen.
... an excellent intro to Queen's magic. Thank you so much for the detailed information you've share. Allthough I knew quite of it, it was very well exposed and very complete, with wonderfull details. I have been a rock lover all my life but, to me, Queen are in a different level, where quality rules. May God look after Freddie
Bohemian Rhapsody is not just a Masterpiece, it is a Masterpiece rock opera in three parts. As you listen, you will find that it is written in three styles, each with its own subject. The first is murder, recognizing it, and its impact. Second, the chaos and circus of a trial. Third, accepting the verdict, and death. Note that the last note is a single symbol strike, allowed to die out. Bohemian Rhapsody just goes to the heart. It, Queen, and Freddy Mercury will live forever, on this song alone.
Yes, Queen is a band, they all wrote songs becaming famous and Bohemian Rhapsody is a Freddy's masterpiece... Very touching reaction, thanks and love from France 🇫🇷😘
"Magical" "Beautiful" "Fire" "Muy Buen" "What is going on ?!" All great words to use when listening to Queen! Loved your reaction and love your stand up style. You'll get lots of new subscribers if you do Queen reactions. If you did one every day, it would keep you going for at least a year and there is not a stinker among them (well, maybe one...). And don't worry about blocking the video. We all can see the entire thing perfectly in our heads anyway! LOL! 😂
Queen are a British rock band formed in London in 1970 by Freddie Mercury (lead vocals, piano), Brian May (guitar, vocals) and Roger Taylor (drums, vocals) ..... from the Wikipedia entry ..... Freddie has an amazing vocal range some of my favourites from Queen are Killer Queen, I want to break free, 7 Seas of Rhye and Fat Bottom Girls plus every other song they made lol
Loved your reaction, bohemian rhapsody is a roller-coaster of emotions. I grew up with my mum listening to Queen but it wasn't until i'd got a bit older that i realised what an amazing talent Freddie Mercury and Queen were. There's nothing else I can say that everyone else has already said apart from your not too bad at hitting the high notes yourself.
O M G.....I ABSOLUTELY LOVE WATCHING REACTIONS TO QUEEN FOR THE FIRST TIME....WELCOME MY DEAR...TO THE QUEEN RABBIT HOLE.....Now, you need to go watch Somebody to Love live in Montreal, LIVE AIDE 1985, and on and on it goes.....Also do Wembley 1986 Queen.....Let me introduce you to Freddie Mercury (Lead SInger), Brian May (Guitar), John Deacon (Bass) & last but def not least, Roger Taylor (Drums).....you will not regret starting this....I PROMISE YOU!!!!!!!
The opening a Capella bit is only Freddie harmonizing with himself, even though it shows all four of them singing. Queen=best band ever! Freddie=best singer ever! All four are in the songwriter’s hall of fame, and Queen is in the rock and roll hall of fame. All four are college graduates with Brian May (guitarist) having a PhD in Astrophysics and working with NASA!
Queen never block their video's.The best band ever singing the best song EVER. don't forget the bass! They have 200 songs! And they invented this form of video - - Mtv didn't,t exist -and they could not go on a promotional tour so they sent this to BBC - - who played it 9 weeks in a row - - no. 1 should be played next week - and the stayed as no. 1! nice reaction. - a new subscriber .
Welcome to the Queen rabbit hole! This band that can play anything, from r&b, gospel, rock, pop, opera, rockabilly...you name it. If you want to be completely blown away, watch and listen to Somebody to Love in Montreal 1981 and White Queen at the Odeon Hammersmith 1975... This is the only band that sounds just as good Live ( sometimes better!!) than in the studio. remember at the time there was no auto tune so it's all just them, just raw talent!
The very first thing that confuses most new listeners is they miss that the "MOMMA" cry is a confession TO mamma. Momma didn't pull a gun, he did -- and he's sick about it. Seems like people are commin' for him too. A system has it's claws in him and he just wants to be set free. He ends up like, "You can't do this to me BABY!" But in his gang-life world, or whatever it is, by the end "nothing really matters...."
Queen wrote and performed two movie soundtracks HIGHLANDER and FLASH GORDON. If you’re not a Queen fan at the end of HIGHLANDER than you weren’t listening to the music that tied perfectly into the movie. FLASH GORDON is just a joyous romp through high camp both musically and visually.
Yes, the Queen set at the Live Aid concert from 1985. You won’t be disappointed. Freddie was, I think, the greatest showman ever. And what a voice!! A lot of people don’t give the rest of the band as much credit. They deserve it though. All of them A-No. 1!!! As has been said before, Roger Taylor, the drummer, had a good enough voice to be a lead singer.
Amazing reactions!! Keep it going. Queen is like rollercoaster, you never know what to expect from them but after listening you feel goooood !! Best live bend in music history. Somebody to love live in Montreal 1981 please 😊
Id like to say.. watching your body as you move along the music.. it's very refreshing to see someone react that has the 'beat' and can flow ..with.. it. Your a lucky man that your body feels it as much as your soul. If your new to 'rock' always remember the early groups laid foundations that still out-pace most of the music today.
A rhapsody is a piece of classical music in 3 parts. Think of it as a little tragic opera about Freddie himself. The man he killed was his former self when he came out to his very religious mother as bisexual. You can find lots of info online about all the references. It's absolute genius.
You might want to check out "Another One Bites the Dust", "We Will Rock You", and We are the Champions". So many hits that you know and didn't realize it
I first heard this song on a TV show from the late 90’s called La Femme Nikita, but this is the first time I’ve ever seen anyone react to it. Cool to see all the different stuff you react to.
One of the best ever songs by the world’s best ever band! No Rhap as fans know it was way ahead of its time but is still as much loved as ever! Freddie never explained it’s meaning but preferred fans to have their own interpretation, he did however say that it was 3 unfinished songs that he put together! So happy that you are enjoying going down the Queen rabbit hole, you will now have the thrill of enjoying their huge catalogue of all their songs! More please, “Somebody To Love” live in Montreal in ‘81, Tie Your Mother Down, Under Pressure, White Queen, the possibility are endless & none of them will disappoint! Besides all of Queen being superb musos, they are all very clever guys, Freddie Mercury had a diploma in design, Brian May( lead guitarist & back up vocals) has a Doctorate in Astrophysics & is now Sir Brian May having been recently knighted by King Charles, John Deacon, bass guitarist has a degree in Electronics & Roger Taylor, drummer has a Biology degree. All 4 have written no 1 hits! Thank you, love from Australia! 🇦🇺 ❤️
Queen is by far one of the best if not the best Group/band ever. I don't really like to tell any body what to do but I have to say if you like this one song don't stop keep going and be ready its going to be a journey!
You have me sitting here laughing my butt off. Your expressions on your face the way the song changes and you don't know what to expect next was priceless. You are fun to watch. Glad you like so much of the music I grew up with. Checking out your reactions. So glad young people are watching and listening to this great music.❤
OOOOOOOOH........IS M A G N I F I CO OOOOOOO!!!!!!!NO COMMENT......IS PURE ART....IS UNFORGETTEBLE EXPIRIENCE❤❤❤OH MAMA MIA FREDDY!!!!OH MAMA MIAAAAAAAAA❤❤❤THANKS ONLY,INIMITABLE QUEEN👑👑👑👑👑👑👑
I have to admit it’s surprised me how many young reactors focus in on the “put a gun against his head” line in “Bohemian Rhapsody” given the lyrics in so much (especially) hip hop and rap. Anyway, as others have said, Queen really never talked about the “meaning” of their songs and frankly I don’t think oldster fans like myself got too caught up in it either-just enjoy! Freddie DID say he didn’t exactly love the (new at the time) trend of music videos because the videos became “what the song was about.” Queen is infamous for cerebral, fanciful, high brow, campy, absurd lyrics. Honestly it’s part of the fun (ie. absolutely EVERY reactor pauses at “call me Mr. Fahrenheit” in the song “Don’t Stop Me Now”). I’ve always felt like Queen uses words/lyrics like an actual instrument. Freddie, Brian, Roger and John are all highly intelligent and educated outside of music and they draw on interests like art (“The Fairy Feller’s Master-Stroke” is about a painting), opera, made up childhood stories, etc. One “theory” of many about the gun line in BohRhap is it’s Freddie telling his mother about coming to terms with his sexuality (killing off the idea of the man he was pretending to be). Believable theory, but trying to get literal with Queen is definitely not the point. So apparently it’s official-I’ve become one of those people who write obnoxiously long comments on TH-cam. Oh well. 😂
Your reaction blew me away. I have jammed so hard to them cruisin down the road for years and its really cool seeing a reaction to a first time listener. It just doesn't seem possible, its crazy. Enjoyed watchin ya
I love watching reaction videos of songs I grew up with and your's is the best. You said you graduated in 2017? I graduated in 1976. We had the best music ever, from Motown to rock to Southern Fried rock, incredible music, never equaled

The problem with listening to Queen is that you have to keep listening to them. It consumes you. Love your response (it's so genuine) and your dance moves.
I'm a 62 year old gay guy. I love Queen as A Night At The Opera was charting here in Australia I was 15. Fabulous days.
Greatest song EVER written and recorded 🙌 ❤
Let me introduce you the Queen: Freddie Mercury the lead singer and pianist, Brian May the guitarist, John Deacon the bassist and Roger Taylor the drummer, they all were highly graduated. Queen is the most versatile rock band, they wrote their own stuff in several genres from rock to jazz, to pop, etc. about 200 songs. Freddie never took singing lessons, but his powerful and emotional performances are still legendary.
Freddie had 3 unfinished songs and then he put them together into this masterpiece. Great reaction, thanks.
He also did opera and, believe it or not, a lullaby called Dear Friends. It's only about a minute and a half.
Sorry for my intrusion but, to me, after all, Freddie was a singer of songs and a lover of love.
After 32 years since he left, still miss him every single day. What an outstanding man!
And don’t forget that Brian May literally had a PhD in astrophysics 🐐
@@username_unavailable He has also been knighted, so he is now Sir Dr. Brian May. Credit where credit is due. 😁
@@username_unavailable wow, I didn't know that.
As people will say or have said... Now it's time for Somebody to Love LIVE IN MONTREAL '81. Your reaction was priceless!! Thank you!!
No it's not lol he literally just reacted to his first song by them. Another one Bites the dust is more appropriate
This should be next for sure! A whole different vibe. He will see that Queen can do anything.
Queen doesn't block their videos off the Queen channel so please show them👑
Gotchu ❤️
I'm a New Zealand woman almost 70. This was our anthem travelling around England and Europe in our VW van, when i was in my early twenties. Love seeing younger generations find the magic we were privileged to enjoy way back then. Really enjoyed your reaction.
This is a deep, but completely worth it rabbit hole. Tons of hits over decades and yes, you will know some of their music without knowing you knew it.
YES!!!!!
THE BEST BAND EVER!!!!
MORE QUEEN, PLEASE!!!!
Second best. Led Zeppelin will alway be #1.
"Another One Bites the Dust" "Under Pressure" "We Are the Champions" "We will Rock You" all huge classics by them that you probably have heard out and about. Anyways that's actually a banger list to start with for them
Yay Queen. Masterful professional musical artists of four. All the members write music. Go down the Queen rabbit hole you won’t be disappointed.
Great reaction!! You so need to watch Queen’s performance at Live Aid 1985. Still gives me goosebumps every time I watch it. Simply stunning!!
Live Aid.
This song 100% takes you on a journey. Love how it takes 1st time listeners by surprise at every turn
Queen is four members. All are extremely talented and educated. The opening sequence with the four heads singing in harmony was all done by lead singer Freddie Mercury by layering multiple tracks of himself. He was a musical genius, can’t wait to see what else you react to, enjoy
Somebody to Love
Montreal
1981
AMAZING!!!!
Must watch!
LOVE watching people discover the classics
Watch their Live Aid performance and you will be speechless at their brilliance.
Your reaction was so pure! This is one of the most legendary songs in history. Thank you for sharing it!
There's a reason some of these songs are legendary. It's a hell of a track.
Queen is a British rock band that was formed in 1970 and was comprised of:
Freddie Mercury - Lead vocals and piano
Roger Taylor - Drummer and vocals
Brian May - Lead guitar and vocals
John Deacon - Bass guitar
"Bohemian Rhapsody" released originally in 1975 is the creation of Freddie Mercury but he never told anyone what he was thinking when he wrote the lyrics.
"Bohemian Rhapsody" can be broken down into 6 parts:
Part I is the "Into". The video image shows the four members of Queen singing and harmonizing the lyrics of the "Intro" in acapella. In reality, it is only Freddie's voice you hear on the recording. Freddie laid down 5 separate tracks of himself singing and harmonizing with himself. (FYI - multi-tracking and overdubbing runs rampant in Bohemian Rhapsody.)
Next is the "Ballad" portion of the song ('Mama, just killed a man').
My God, what an excelent introdution
... an excellent intro to Queen's magic.
Thank you so much for the detailed information you've share. Allthough I knew quite of it, it was very well exposed and very complete, with wonderfull details.
I have been a rock lover all my life but, to me, Queen are in a different level, where quality rules.
May God look after Freddie
Actually, you've heard them before, WE WILL ROCK YOU and WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS. Great reaction! Keep em coming!❤️
Welcome to the phenomenal musicality of Queen! Your musical life has just been enriched. Enjoy Queen’s timeless talent.
Perfectly said 👍🎶😊
Wait until you start reacting to all of Queen's live performances. You'll be even more impressed. Great reaction here!
Freddie Mercury is one of the best artists ever lived. Bohemian Rhapsody is one of my most favorite songs.
Lucky enough to see them live in '77, I was 17! So much fun to see people hear this for the very first time!! 😃
Nobody could sing like Freddie
Loved your reaction man! That's exactly how I feel everytime I listen to it! 😅
The opening a Capella bit is only Freddie harmonizing with himself, even though it shows all four of them singing.
Queen=best band ever!
Freddie=best singer ever!
All four are in the songwriter’s hall of fame, and Queen is in the rock and roll hall of fame.
All four are college graduates with Brian May (guitarist) having a PhD in Astrophysics and working with NASA!
FYI Queen doesn't block their videos, so no need to pause or overlay a mask.
Recorded on 24 track analog tape, no computers, or synthesizers. Just 4 guys with incredible talent.
Freddie was so beautiful. The world lost a priceless treasure.
🌹❤️🌹❤️🌹❤️🌹❤️🌹❤️RIP❤️🌹❤️🌹❤️🌹❤️🌹❤️🌹
Greatness 😊 thanks for your reaction 😊 more Queen live please ❤
Welcome to the Queen party now in its 50th year and going strong. So much ahead of you. Enjoy the ride son.
When someone listens to this song for the very first time, they experience an "eargasm". That's what you experienced dude, an "eargasm".🤟🎶
Another amazing reaction. This song is a journey.
More Queen reactions please!
Greatest band ever!! Please do Somebody To Love live from Montreal!
No auto tune just talent Freddie mercury is the greatest singer /performer of all time the goat
You need the live aid 1985 performance ❤️ to completely appreciate the brilliance that is Queen
"Do whatever you want with my music. Remix it, rerelease it just never make me boring"
Welcome to the wonderful world of QUEEN...go down a rabbit hole with these guys..love from London 🇬🇧
❤️
Love your reaction you will be addicted to queen now you need to watch Queen at live aid 20 minutes of pure happiness take care x
Welcome to the Queen family….only 300 songs to go!!🌻🇬🇧🌻
Queen live in Montreal,'Somebody to Love' Live.
Amazing reactions!! Keep it going. Queen is like rollercoaster, you never know what to expect from them but after listening you feel goooood !! Best live bend in music history. Somebody to love live in Montreal 1981 please 😊
❤️
Id like to say.. watching your body as you move along the music.. it's very refreshing to see someone react that has the 'beat' and can flow ..with.. it. Your a lucky man that your body feels it as much as your soul. If your new to 'rock' always remember the early groups laid foundations that still out-pace most of the music today.
A rhapsody is a piece of classical music in 3 parts. Think of it as a little tragic opera about Freddie himself. The man he killed was his former self when he came out to his very religious mother as bisexual. You can find lots of info online about all the references. It's absolute genius.
now: "somebody to love" live in montreal 1981 🙂
P.S That should be fans know it as Bho Rhap!! 😂
I applaud you for caring enough to look up the correct pronunciation of “Bohemian Rhapsody”. So many reactors pronounce it incorrectly. 💕💜💕💜
Queen was my first concert as a kid. NOBODY ever came close to outperforming them!!
How lucky were you!?!
LEGENDARY BAND, LEGENDARY VOICE... RIP FREDDY
Queen is by far one of the best if not the best Group/band ever. I don't really like to tell any body what to do but I have to say if you like this one song don't stop keep going and be ready its going to be a journey!

Glad you like so much of the music I grew up with. Checking out your reactions. So glad young people are watching and listening to this great music.❤
Watch the Queen set at the Live Aid concert from 1985 , it is 20 minutes long but it is considered to be the best ever concert in history
that's not just "a guitar". that's Dr Brian May, Rock God and PhD Astrophysicist, playing "The Red Special".

I had soo much fun watching you experience this crazy masterpiece!!!
Great reaction. ♡
♥️
me too, I love these honestreactions..go well Son, never lose that!!
More queen please 🔥🔥🔥
❤️
Yes 'I'm here for it!
I love watching reaction videos of songs I grew up with and your's is the best. You said you graduated in 2017? I graduated in 1976. We had the best music ever, from Motown to rock to Southern Fried rock, incredible music, never equaled
I think this is one of the best reactions I have seen to this song!!
Well thank you 🖤
Love love LOVE your reaction!!! You recognize genius.
🖤
I honestly enjoyed your reaction, it reminded me of my first time listening to this song, in the 70th.
Love you 🖤
