My grandmother LOVED Family Matters and specifically, Jaleel's character. I was a kid when this show was on and I remember calling her and she would answer the phone cracking up laughing. She was a quiet, thoughtful, beautiful spirit but Jaleel would have her laughing in tears.. she died in 94 and hearing him speak on the death of his friend brought up so much

I’ve always like him! Love him on family matters and he made me laugh hysterically! Truth be told, l watched the show b/c of him mostly. He made the show interesting and funny plus more. What a fine man he turned out to be! I’ve a lot of admiration for him, the way he’s so close and raised his daughter👏🏾, l can go on! Moreover, when this young woman (Michelle Thomas) who passed away so sadly, his love interest on the show, may She Rest In Peace, l thought oh boy. These two are something else, they deserved each other 😂. The duo complemented the show. That’s life, we lose people we love, we mourn them and we move on. However, we never forget them and we keep their spirits alive and close to our hearts. Until next time!!!

She had alot of friends in the music industry, and some of that is/was likely due to the fact that her father was a founding member of one of the best R&B groups ever, Kool & The Gang, Dennis Thomas.
He passed away in August of 2021, so he and his beautiful daughter are now reunited again for an eternity, may God keep both of their souls...🙏🏼...

Let’s be real, Michelle’s death was shocking. One minute she was on the Y&TR, next she was gone. She had so much talent and it’s sad how young she was when she passed away. I didn’t even know she was sick until she passed away. Her fans were truly sadden and I can say this because I’m one of them. ❤

I have twice now and both times were filled with good, most recently getting to see my grandma Betty and if it weren't for her telling me I have more to do on this earth, that I had to fight to live I wouldn't be here right now. To allow me to be sick and not the child I saw going through treatment with me. I chose to believe it's worked as that child is cancer free and I'm not. Erkle was the only reason I watched Family Matters. Normally I would leave the room to read a book instead of watching a sitcom. Jeleel made Erkle a funny, believable, and lovable character.🤗💚

The only problem is that he didn't connect him at all with the actual person and spirit..Demons pretend to be loved ones, there's a class and certain types of demons that work by imitating loved ones. Mediums and psychics aren't working through gifts from God, they're being empowered by other spirits to forward a false agenda and perpetuate something that's wrong in the eyes of God. Know the Lord Jesus Christ, repent, it's a gift from God. Jesus Christ is the Alpha and Omega, not a man that started a religion. Stop believing in what hollywood peddles, they're sadly heading for the lake of fire and taking many with them. I wish people knew how many deceptions are in this world, the powers of evil are experts at them. If you want to know pure truth, unadulterated truth, the highest truth, seek to know Jesus Christ. I went to one of his live shows in NYC several months ago and he did readings of people in the audience. When he’s on tour, I believe he does shows around the country (maybe world?) and reads people in the audience. For a couple of people in the audience at the NYC show, he had his team set up private readings because the stories behind the people that came through were so personal and private that he didn’t want to keep doing the reading in public.

I wish all the best and happiness for Jaleel. Growing up, he and the rest of the Family Matters cast gave me a family when I needed it but didn't even realize it. They showed us what a family should be in the best of times and the worst of times. I'll always be grateful for that.
Jameel has always been a special performer. Talent over flows from every pore. I'm glad he now believes. I wish him an abundance of love & success in all he might wish to pursue.

I think Keke Palmer said it best when she said "work is work!" 😂 sometimes the goal as an actor isn't to stay relevant, it's to make income.. and JW is definitely doing that 👌🏽

I almost cried. I remember when Michelle passed. I was a fan of every show she was on and so it felt like a big sister had suddenly passed. She just disappeared from Y&R and Family Matters at, what felt like, the same time and it just left a hole. I hope she is resting peacefully. I’m so grateful Jaleel received closure.

The woman, actress was so beautiful and just kind…her reputation preceded her. I once ran into her at the Santa Monica stairs. Michelle was petite and just radiant. I was coming up the stairs and she was coming down and I was caught by surprise seeing her there in person and she saw my expression and just gave me the biggest smile. I worked in entertainment over 20 years and met countless celebrities and my favorite run ins have always been impromptu. It was shocking to learn she passed so suddenly, but she was like Chadwick and didn’t tell many people.
I really enjoyed this reading. I’ve never heard anyone call Tyler’s “work”as “two hours of enchantment.” I totally agree.😊
