As much as I do not like Rose that much, I truly love this Fragrance. I like the pepper note in it. To me it's really elegant and classy.
The first time I tried this fragrance I actually forgot I sprayed my wrist and got a whiff of it an hour or so later and was blown away! I couldn't stop smelling my wrist. It drys down to the most beautiful, sensual aromaI, that to me is addicting. I have about 150 bottles in my collection, and Declaration D'un Soir is in my top 5. It smells magical to me, (and works like magic with females) tho it's more of a close encounter type of fragrance, that really mixes with your body chemistry n has light projection. But, my god it smells orgasmic!

I've never liked rose both in smell and taste. But this is the smoothest and most gorgeous designer rose based fragrance Ive smelled so far.

Great job on this review -- you're right on with the description as a peppery rose. I am not a fan of rose in general -but this one is nice and relaxing... works for chilling-out or bedtime.

I just tested this one this past summer and i really like it. I hadn't considered rose scents much prior to, but this one really turned me on to them.

I have this one and like it a lot. Favourite rose fragrance? I have four that I use. For 'lighter / fresher' rose - Eau de Protection (ELdO) and La Fille de Berlin (Lutens). For 'heavier / darker' rose - Malle's Portrait of a Lady and Ex Idolo's Thirty Three.
I love rose fragrances. Especially masculine scents. One of my faves is Le Labo Rose 31. I'd love to try this
My favorite rose base scent are Atelier Rose Anonyme and Frederic Malle Potrait of a Lady. Nice presentation @Carlos.

My fave rose scent still is Perfumer's Workshop Tea Rose. But my others are LUSH Imogen Rose, Tauerville Rose Flash, and Serge Lutens La Fille de Berlin and Sa Majeste La Rose. I have a few others, too. Sometimes, I wear them all at once. Did I say, I LOVE ROSE?

Love the review. My fav rose scent is anais anais by cacharel because it reminds me of my mother, and my childhood. The perfume is not in anyway stellar but in my book its the memories that count the most.

I'm new to fragrances and only have 6 now. Declaration (the original) was my first though and I love it. Of the others I have it seems the most balanced and great for home and work. It's not strong enough for a special night out but otherwise I love it.
I have yet to try any of the flankers but I'm happy to see they're well received too.
I've only owned Declaration Essence
This is one of my go to frags. The ultimate dumb reach! I love this stuff! Great review Carlos!

@@raphael9197 my bottle is probably 4 years old. I don’t know if it’s been reformulated but mine lasts for 7 hrs easy. It’s not a beast but it’s present that whole time. You will definitely keep getting whiffs of yourself thru the day.
It's a pretty good value at discounted prices. I'm pretty picky with Rose scents too though. Thanks Carlos

I have this one, and it’s solid for its price. To me, it comes off a little cool and almost metallic on the opening. My favorite rose scent has to either be Frederic Malle’s Portrait of a Lady or Armani Prive’s Rose d’Arabie (beautiful blend of rose, oud, vanilla, and patchouli!).

5/23 I didn’t even know I liked Rose. But from the moment I tried it in fragrance 18 months ago, I’ve loved rose. 🌹🌹. I smelled this last year and when I went back to see if I can get a sample it was gone and now it’s discontinued. ☹️

I don't think that I have ever had a rose fragrance, so I wouldn't know where to start. But this does sound interesting especially at such a good price!
I have wanted try this one for quite a bit. My favorite rose fragrances has to be Lyric Man. Fingers crossed. We got some good giveaways popping recently in the fragrance community.

Been trying so hard to find a masculine rose! Was considering TF Oud Fleur
Very well made rose fragrance, one of the best I've smelled, it actually smells similar to some that costs 150$.
In my country we can get it for less than 30$ which is a bargain if you ask me.
I tend to like rose when it's mixed with oud. Joe Malone Velvet Rose Oud, Dior Oud Ispahan and By Kilian Rose Oud are probably my favorites. My favorite non oud rose fragrance is Tauer Phi Une Rose de Kandahar.
I like Declaration Dun Soir. One of the few rose fragrances that I can tolerate. My favorite rose fragrance is Amouage Lyric Man.

Hmmmm🤔 good question. I have only smelled the Cartier to be honest. If it has reviews on fragrantica that it performs better, I would not see why not. Depends how much they want for it for what size...
@@TheGrafton12 This is sooo old but I'll just leave this here in case somebody stumbles upon my answer. Both the Cartier and Lyric Man have the same woody rose vibe. Lyric Man has a slightly more prominent rose. I personally don't think it's worth owning Lyric Man if you have the Cartier, because at that price there are more interesting and rich roses.

Greetings Carlos. Great review. Never tried this one, however I’d give it a shot if the rose note isn’t too feminine. Perfume calligraphy rose by Aramis is one of my favorites.
Tom Ford Cafe Rose has to be my favorite Rose fragrance!

Rose isn't a note that I'm primarily drawn to in fragrances. I'll make an exception when it's balanced well with other notes I enjoy . Kazimi by House of Matriarch is the one that does it for me.
my favorite rose fragrance is rose des vents by louis vuitton. but must admit i haven’t tried TF cafe rose.
My favorite rose scent is Stella EDP as well as JHAG Miss Charming but I'm looking forward to trying POAL and some of the rose offerings from Amourage and Ormonde Jayne.

frederic malle une rose because it smells so much like real roses. it's kind of amazing.
I don't like Rose much either but in Ambre Nuit it's very subtle so that would be my choice.

The only rose fragrances I have are Bond No. 9 Westside, Habit Rouge and Al Wisam Day. I'm not really wowed by these fragrances, but the only rose dominant I want to smell is Lyric Man
