Hey, chonsen. The trolls at 5:32 are not AI glitched they are petrified due to going into the sun. So turn off you shader and you will see that they turned into stone because trolls cannot go into the sunlight. That is why they live in the caves. This is from my memory of the pack so, apologies if I am incorrect.
Remember in the Lord of the Rings the trolls turned to stone at dawn when the sunlight hit them. This is the exact same thing, except they turn back into trolls at night. Disney's Gargoyles, the animated series, also had this "mechanic" of stone in sunlight, alive at night.
If you see this, I highly recommend adding the lycanites redux resource pack! It makes all of the lycanites look soooo much more cohesive with minecraft! :) It'll make your roc a lot cuter too!
3:10 that was a tier 5 champion mob. The red stars. Very dangerous. Its like 0.01% of spawning. It can drop very good enchanted books like. Advanced protection and supreme sharpness.
Don't forget that a lot of the "dinosaur" mobs make food for other creatures, too. You can often farm the herbivores. Aren't potatoes or beets a winter crop?
I highly HIGHLY recommend the Lycanites Redux Texture Pack now that you have a mount. Makes the lycanites mobs look more like Minecraft mobs in design. I will never play RLC without it!!! 😁
The Pixens sometimes cause Lifeleak as a status ailment debuff. Lifeleak causes your attacks to heal based on the damage you would have dealt, hence how the Pixen kept resisting death from you. Also congrats on getting the mount, my own run has been entirely grounded because all trolls I've met and killed have decided I do not need their leather, so I have the tusk and the feathers and the saddle but no leather, and I've seen like... 2 Silex my entire run so far.
There is a chance to get silex to spawn by fishing them (the mob spawns in as a result), i used that plus exploring some rivers / a marsh to get enough silex meat, still was a bit of a grind though.
@makhnomite My fishing does not appear to fish them up. I have gotten normal fish, no mobs, though yes I did see that yeah you are right. Just not been successful... :/
The roc’s ability is to pick up mobs, which I believe means you could pick up a nymph to heal you and your ride while you bow-fight tower golems or dragons!
Congratulations on getting a mount! Now you can do so many things including killing a dragon with a bow as long you know how to dodge it’s fire breathe.
chosen!! you can make a ring of strength using a little bit of blaze powder and a magma block which would make you deal a LOT more damage if you swapped out one of the speed rings for it. (there are enchantments you can get on boots that give you big speed and jump height bonuses to replace one or both of the rings). also if you are underground and find the stoneling mobs from quark, be sure to kill them (without scaring them away) because they sometimes drop the heart of diamond which you can use to craft a ring of resistance
I think Chosen needs to build second pens for his animals that the babies could go to and be kept inside of for slaughter. In case monsters would spawn once he starts killing them down. Well... Yeah, it is kinda needed. Also I loved that there is a pressure plate that would only let a player activate it. I could build a redstone door with pressure plates! Huzzah!
in the OG rlcraft I used to get on my roc go straight for the top of the tower, and then use TNT arrows to yeet the golems out of the tower and that way to loot free of worries maybe it'll work in this version as well :)
Now that you have a Flying mount. You should try looting the top chests of the parasite cities. They contain some really good loot. Almost end game loot. Use invis potion otherwise you might die. Also use pike for extra reach distance.
Really happy for you man! Look up swap arrows (cant remember what theyre called) for cheesing battle towers. Diamond pet armor with speedy quality. Level up the bat or the morock and they become super powerful.
There is costume Arrow you can make to deal more damage and teleport arrow that can easily switch your position with mob your hit. You can shoot golem at battle tower from far away with teleport arrow, and the golem just gonna ignore you if you far enough from it. If you want to kill dragon, making Iron Arrow can deal more damage than normal arrow, Diamond Arrow is expensive but deal much much damage that can easily kill dragon
Hey chosen im pretty sure waystones can be picked up and can be placed and reused at any location. Like having one inside your base or a cheesey way to not use recall potions
Hey Chosen, when you mine ore like coal or iron, a geonach can spawn. They're useful because there's a chance for them to drop either a spear or a fist which would be used to make an op weapon. You do need an equipment station level 1 though but they're easy to make. Also collect those charges from lycanites mobs. P.S. stop attacking the pixens. They're harmless when they approach you but when you attack them, they'll get aggressive.
Dunno if you gonna read the comment but you should take all iron and/or diamond tools and armour and even pet amour because you can smelt them down with 100% efficiency
if the trolls follow ancient troll lore, then they should unstone form at night, they're definitely stone form in your game. from ancient lore trolls are said to be indestructible in stone form, but cannot move until moonlight reaches them. ( dont know what ingame mechanics are though, test and see if they unstone form at night? )

Yep and you use a pickaxe on them once they turn to stone. It's just what happens to the Fire and Ice trolls in sunlight.

Trolls traditionally in stories can not be in daylight or they turn to stone (Which is why they hide under bridges, in caves, or parent's basements )
Now that you have a Roc, don't forget to add a chest onto it so you can keep items on the Roc if you die/it dies.

When it comes to locked chest, you cannot use a hopper on them BUT you can break them with TNT except for Diamond/Steel locks.

The rock ability is to pick mobs up so it can grab book wyrms to bring back to bred and farm for gold ones
Shaders tend to cause mods to bug put or mess with textures or even making mobs invisible

Dont equip the magnet. Just having it in your inventory allows it to work. Dont have it on hotbar either, set keybinds for it.
