What a brilliant song. Had not heard it for 30 years. David Gamson, one of the most underrated writers and producers in pop music. Tony LeMans such a wonderful vocal performance. A life lost far too you. RIP.
I can't remember can't remember where we recorded this it could have been at David's apartment on 93rd Street in Manhattan or Minot Studios out in Westchester but I was working for Tony at the time I think it was just me Tony and David that was a great project though imagine having to go tell Prince that Tony doesn't want to use a song that Prince gave him called future light and that was my job to go tell Prince that those were good times
OMG your alive to tell this story!! Where do I begin? Did Tony really steal Lennys girl? Did you know Prince as well? Was the song "Future Light good? What did Prince say when he turned his song down for this masterpiece? OMG you were around them at this time your a KING! i would call you a GOD but I'm a Christian lol
@@chrishawkins6535😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 this is everything I would've asked,! You got me dying laughing over here, because it's like people don't understand that PrinCe,Lenny and Tony was ruling back at this time! I'm just excited even writing this comment lol (Heavens to Bettsie) this is freaking amazing ❤
@@chrishawkins6535 Oh yes, apart from the whole Tony Lemans album, check out "Jaki Graham - From now on", "Chaka Khan - Love of a lifetime", "Luther Vandross - Come back", "Adele Bertei - When it's Over"
