Here after the Sims 4: Discover University reveal trailer dropped. We all know that nothing comes close to the masterpiece that is The Sims 2 University pack, but here's hoping it'll be at least half as good! 💜 Nothing beats TS2 though.

Back when people made trailers for games and not the other way around. I used to think Discover University was the best university so far in the franchise. I'm back to playing sims 2 and once again we gotta admit... Sims 2 did everything the best

purple lavender But if my college Sims lock their dorm room doors, then that just makes it harder to invite dates in and WooHoo them. There's a reason why I've built dorms with large dorm rooms and double beds. ;)
You can kill any fully fledged Sim without wrecking your game, though. This includes cheerleaders, cow mascots, llama mascots, random dorm students, grand vampires, high witches, vacationhood natives, et cetera. If it's an _incomplete_ Sim or a Sim-like animated object (ie. Mrs. Crumplebottom, the Grim Reaper, Santa Claus, that damned Penguin, that twice-damned Unsavory Charlatan and so on), then kill it at your own risk. General rule of thumb: If you can marry a Sim into your family and make him/her playable without using any cheats or mods, then you can kill him/her safely.

Well it is realistic it takes at least 2 years to graduate unless different collages/university's have different courses that are shorter
Everyone says that but I feel if you have a good story line when you play the game it goes by super fast. Like when I send sims off to college alone it takes forever but when I send them in groups and give them different personalities it makes it more fun and go by faster.

I'm so lucky that my big sister had the sims 2 on her old laptop (I have the laptop now :D), she had this pack too and many others too!
playing uni right now...it fluctuates between being boring and fun but overall i really like it. it's a very memorable experience when you get into the flow of it. I prefer to keep them in the dorms.

Sims 2 is way better. I mean, it can get really boring sometimes but once you try something new in the game, it's super fun. Sims 3 is just not the same as Sims 2 . I will always love Sims 2 .

Everytime when I start watching videos of Sims 2, I realise how Sims 3 and Sims 4 just don't have that kind of warmth and coziness. I don't know how to explain that. I mean, Sims 3 and 4 have more options, better graphic etc, but I will always love, above all others, the Sims 2. Hugs from Serbia.

I love the sims 2. The Sims 4 is going to be like it minus toddlers and pools of course but it's going to be amazing, The Sims 3 was a low content, laggy shit piece of a mess.
The sims 2 had amazing stuff and the sims 4 is going to be amazing from the looks.

That generic Gaming channel Now played the game The Sims 4 does have alot of pros against the Sims 3 mainly content for most stuff like social, interactions and that but it does lack in the world space. but when you think about it the sims 3 you hardly ever saw 1 sim jogging and you can only see them on lots thats even if they have time to go out.
The Sims 4 and The Sims 3 do have equal pros and cons that weigh out each other. But it still remains that The Sims 2 is the best Sims game that ever was and will be. theres just so much they did and nothing they removed.

+TheCrazyBritish Sims 3 is way better now. Played sims 2 for 3 years but when you compare sims 2 + all expansions vs. sims 3 + all expansions, Sims 3 will definitely win this easily. And you can add more families in lots if you want to see people walking around your house. The animations in sims 2 are way more funny but when you compare it in real life, it doesn't fit that much as sims 3 did it way better. If you have a better PC, sims 3 will not lag. My complete collection doesn't lag and it's the best life simulation game I ever played. That's my opinion tho! I respect your perspective!

Each game of the series has their own ups and downs. and this makes them all equal, Sims 2 did things, Sims 3 did things and Sims 4 is doing new things. None of them are really superior.
also the "but when you compare it in real life" isn't really valid. This is The Sims. it's not meant to be real life, sure it's a life simulator but its not real life and never has been. it's always been its own thing. The Sims is its own separate world.

Yeah the sims 3 did amazing stuff but it had taken away alot of stuff too just like the sims 4. The sims 2 has so many features and gameplay which haven't been fully implemented into future games and never really took away anything.

@@neamhdhlisteanach6720 On some degree I agree to this. It's the memory of thing we cling on to not the thing itself. But Sims 4 is just inherently bad. The multitasking is broken and causes too much lag. The emotion system is just an excuse to make mediocre traits. Sure the game has its pro and cons but it's fundamental aspect are broken.

They merge. After installing and all that jazz, you could start with whatever disk is required (Most likely whichever one is the newest. That's how it works for my Sims 3) and the content from both would be there for you to use.

I LOVED University in Sims 2! It was soo good, the whole school system was just perfect.
All of the previous EPs' stuffs will still appear after you installed the latest ones just as long as you don't uninstall them. So basically you could play all Expansion Packs but that would mean you must play them with Apartment Life (assuming that you have ALL the EPs installed.)
