- Setting up the Flysky PL18 EV for use with the Beier SFR-1 or USM-RC-3. How to select SBUS and theory for setting up the PROP channels with a few demo's. The PL18 EV works fantastic with the Beier system.

I've just brought a PL18EV & now I'm even more excited😁 I have 3 trucks with SFR1 units and this is gonna be so cool! Thank you for your videos, they are brilliant 👍
Love this channel
Hi Bob
Today I ordered the PL18EV Paladin in the Flagship Edition because of you. I hope she is as good as you say.
Greetings from Switzerland
Roger
Perfectly timed video bob I’m expecting my pl18 in next week or two
They are sweet radios, you will love it. Sure works great with the Beier equipment!
Always good to watch your video's and i am using the Beier SFR-1 toghter with the Bluetooth lightmodule LM-BT-16-4 for the trailer and its work good
Enjoy your stay in Arizona
Very helpful information. Thank you.
Thank you very much I just got one of those and was going to ask you for help with it
Another informative video. Is there a way on the paladin to make it stay just one color, love the radio but prefer one color
Hi Bob, excellent video. I am thinking about using the SFR-1 in a scale pickup truck. Does the SFR-1 include engine sounds for a Toyota SR5 Turbo?
Hi, could a video be made on how to mount a light set from RC Lab in the SFR 1.
Great video, Always helpful. I'm going to try and setup S Buss on my FGR12B but the manual doesn't explain how to connect it. It has instructions for the I buss but not the S buss, new to this radio so not up to speed. Any ideas on this one
I was wondering if the truck requires a new battery? (just kidding btw) As it was struggling to start! Another good video! always like the upgrades that you do to a lot of the 'out of the box kits' During lockdown I bought myself a factory painted 1/14 scale Tamiya Scania truck, and later the flatbed trailer to go with it. I also added the driver figure that Tamiya make, although he could do to be re-tooled so that you have a better way to position his arms/hands so that they will hold the stearing wheel properly.
Hi what software is this? Is it compatible with the FS ST8 remote? I need to build a custom model for a strange project i am working on.
Bob, I just brought the Flysky PL18 EV which comes with the FGr12B receiver, Which channel on the receiver does the link cable go to from prop 6 on the Beier SFR1?, I can’t get the receiver to talk to the Beier unit?
Would you need a 16 channel transmitter to get use of those channels
Hi Bob. I hope all is good with you. This is a great video. Would you know if a PL18 would work with a FS-IA10B receiver or would i need to get a new receiver,?
Thanks and happy new year
I can answer my own question. The PL18 uses a wireless protocol called AFHDS3 and the older one uses AFHDS 2A
Hi i`ve just brought a Paladin EV 18 and trying to get it set up with a SFR1 but the trouble I am having is that all my sfr1`s show that the throttle channel is not set in neutral can you give me any idea how I can change this. thanks
You should do a video on the graupner mz32 / mz16, and how to use the digital switches. I have the mz32 and it is genious😊. Making the screen my switch board with the widgets 😀.
Hi thanks for this video, where do I contact the transmission servo? Receiver? Any help or advise is grateful received. Keep up the great work 👍
You can connect the transmission direct to the receiver if you want. That is why I like to leave the lower 8 channels free and start using the SFR-1 on the higher channels.. You can also run it through the SFR-1 with the servo control, will do a video on that sometime soon.
Cool
Can you do a video with the IR trailer unit?
Will be out in the next few weeks
Have fun in Arizona

🔥💕👍
Can this radio be set up with the Nautic switch function as well?
I do not think so. Would be very hard to mount extra switches as the case is very tight inside. Plus the Transmitter already has an amazing selection of switches and knobs.
@@HobbyconceptsLLC How many switches and pots does this have?
Ok I am curious what is your home state?
Idaho
Cool I am in New Mexico
