Thank you for those great information. I have a friend that just got a puppy. He is only three months old and I think she should have waited for six months for him to get to be around his siblings a little bit longer.
So let me say you something correctly 2018 October 27th two puppies were born near my house they were so cute that all our friends love to see them whenever we used to play so we used to go to them and started to play with them then we started to give them food and many more we didn't take them and we kept them with their parents some children came to take them and separate them when they are just half a month old we just used to say get out but one day while I was coming to home I saw two people taking one of the puppies I went to confirm them but it was too late they ran away since then only the Black and White puppy was with its mother in what proper nurishment we played with it it had a great life but the puppy that was taken didn't have a great life he probably didn't even get proper food because he was barely a month old and you do not eat any food except what the mother would bring him then because they couldn't do anything of the dog or puppy so that took it and came back and put it back in the same place but this time when I saw it two shaking in fear in cold before it was fat and chubby now it was super skinny and bones were seen it couldn't even walk but fortunately he found his family and stayed with his family now he is grown up the other black and white dog got all the essential needs to become a full grown dog and he started walking by his own doing things by his own and then the biggest decisions of his life to walk away from his home to join a New Colony he was successful and he joined a new colony and the The Other White puppy got everything what he lacked after he became a little older he was still skinny but little fat and he was grown up and he stayed with his family the black and white dog became big fat and a huge dog it was just a couple of streets away so anyone want to separate puppy from their parents please think twice.
Agree we received a puppy mother couldn’t take care of it at 5.5 weeks, I also have a dog that was with mother until 12 weeks, totally different learning ability, the biting is definitely a good point, we have been teaching not to bite .

8-12 weeks basically
I took my puppy home when she was eight weeks old… But luckily the mommy and all the siblings live close by and I am really glad because she really missed her litter mates and she has got to see them on an almost daily basis and now she's 15 weeks old and still likes to hang out with her siblings regularly… Puppies are very playful and they get lonely without friends… So unless you have a kid in the household or a cat that will actually play With your puppy… Or you yourself like to roll around on the floor and chase things and play tug-of-war all day and all night I wouldn't separate them from their littermates before 12 weeks

I think it's best to allow the puppies for 12 to 14 weeks, as the Mother has house trained them at that stage, and taught bite control. They are calmer and confident. Taking pups from the Mother at 6 to 8 weeks is too young.
I have a 9 week old puppy that I’ve had for 5 days. His bite control is terrible and I don’t know how to get him to calm down. What do mother dogs do?

12-14 weeks is way too long. Most mother dogs start to tire of motherhood after the puppies are done nursing, which is generally at 6 weeks. By 12 weeks, the mother is going to start looking at the puppy as another dog and withdraw...meanwhile the puppy will be left feeling attached to a mother who is turning cold. 7-8 weeks is when puppies should go to their forever home.
it is downright CRUEL to wean puppies early! Just AWFUL and not just milk weaning also weaning them from their LITERMATES.....12 weeks minimum! Pay extra for this! demand this!
@@crystalv3686 The Mother goes into the side of their neck with her mouth, she doesn't bite them just warns them. Sometimes she may use her teeth a little if the pup is constant. So if you use your hand and go into the side of their neck quickly, they should get the message. But I'd have preferred if the pup had stayed longer with the Mother, as we are a poor imitation of her.
I found newborn puppies without there mom and I don’t know if I should separate or keep together cause I can’t take care of them

@@kreszellegwyneroble6255 he's grown up now and living his best life,we provided him some milk powder cause his mom was not here,but it's better to get one pup who is older than 2 monts....
A puppy died because we gave it away to a friend and i guess it got sad and died the next day...💔👎💔💔

12 weeks ...PLEASE never ever support the beyond cruel practice of early weaning! It is almost guaranteed to produce dogs with issues and problems....it is flat TRAUMATIC for the poor things! Their litter mates are their whole life!

Because eventually puppies become older. Puppy litters Can have more than 10 puppies, How would you like have 10 Full grown dogs in your house?
@@heatherchandler2409 I think it's ok to separate them when they are older if you really have no choice. But the real issue is people get dogs pregnant for the very reason of selling the puppies for money.
I agree with that too. But in the wild, don’t other species force their cubs to leave at a certain age? I’m not sure if wolves do that but other species do
@@heatherchandler2409 Yea "some species" do but not ones that live in packs like wolves or lions. And definitely not when they are still pups. And obviously, dogs come from wolves.
