    Just got this in 65 inches. Replaced my X750H (cracked screen). Incredible TV. Blown away by the picture quality. Was torn between this and the X90K with the full array screen. Glad I went with this as it is already incredible picture quality.

    Thank you for your thorough review, I hit like and subscribe because I purchased this TV, based on this review..I am an engineering project manager so I have a technology background.
    I got the latest 2023 model, I do not see any differences from the 2022, it might have a slightly faster CPU. Here are the pro's and only one con
    PROS
    1- The picture quality, you get 120 HZ and the 2:1 ratio, along with VRR ability.
    2-Instalation is easy and it is easy to pair up your blue tooth devices. For my sound bar, I used my Onyx Harmon Kardd0om speakers. It paired it up no problem
    3- This TV is made specifically for gaming, they even have an input button for your Play Station 5.
    4- You get four HDMI ports, which should be more than enough to pair up all of your devises. I have my PlayStation, and my laptop.
    5- For the value for your money, you are getting 120 HZ it does everything you need.
    CON
    The biggest con is it is not cheap 43" costs $650 with amazon prime.

    Can you easily cast your Android phone and tablets to this TV? I have a Galaxy phone but with X85K running on Google TV, I wonder whether Samsung could have an edge in terms of screen casting and connectivity here.
    SEPARATE QUESTION: Speaking of being future-proof, does the TV get regular OS updates?

      Yes you can cast via galaxy since it is a google tv. Actually when you set it up you have to set it up through the Google home app. Also yes it gets regular updates. For example VRR wasn’t originally in the tv then they updated it to add it and since then I’ve received many other updates.

    Just bought this tv to replace a 10 year old Sony X 72OE which was a decent bargain basement entry level 4K tv and was still working fine. The difference in picture quality was obvious. The X85K was much brighter with deep blacks, vibrant colors, smooth motion and crisp details. Almost didn’t buy because Quantum sort of trashed it in his review. Maybe I’m just easy to please but this tv looks awesome. And after I switched to a better internet provider with more bandwidth the picture blew me away. I like the way the tv links with my PlayStation 4pro and my Sony 4K blu ray player without having to fumble with other remotes. Any suggestions as far as calibration to get the optimum picture?

      The OLED will be superior in a dark viewing environment, especially in dark scenes. It also delivers more of that HDR “oomph” because of it’s perfect blacks and has more HDMI inputs.
      That being said; it’s quite a few hundred bucks more expensive and potentially less accurate out of the box (LG panels are still a bit of a lottery in regards to image accuracy unfortunately). It’s also prone to burn-in, which can be a problem if you watch the same channel or play the same game everyday.
      You have to decide for yourself.

      Yeah I get that I'm trying to find an LED panel that actually displays 120hz 4K correctly I've been reading that a lot of them basically half the resolution to be able to display it at all. I read that The hisense u8h and any Sony TV with the X1 chip all do it. I saw a few high end Sony xr TVs and high end Samsung that display 4k 120 properly but then they cost the same as the C2. So that's why I'm thinking I'm just going to get to c2 at this point. I don't think burning is going to be that big of an issue because I only play in bursts of maybe 3 hours at a time max. Luckily in the meantime my current TV can do 1080p 120hz until I find a TV I can afford or save up for

    • @Miha-ii3dy
      @Miha-ii3dy 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@KapinKrunch As someone who owns a LG CX and last year’s X85J; Yes, the 4K120 issue on Sony X1 chips is fact I think, but in my opinion it’s either way overblown or it only affects PC’s, because I can’t for the love of god notice any image clarity downgrade when playing PS5 games at 4K60 or 4K120.
      Regarding OLED burn-in; it’s cumulative. Doesn’t matter if you play in smaller bursts or in long sessions. Only total time matters (high brightness and color intensity also affect it negatively). But yeah, if you’re playing like 2-3 hours a day, even if it’s the same game, I wouldn’t worry about it. Should serve you for years.

    This TV does NOT do 120 hz at 4k. When you switch to 120 fps, it dithers 1080p

    Thanks so much for the review and the unboxing video as well! I think both videos have finally put me over the fence, I got the 43" and it's arriving tomorrow. I game primarily on Switch but I have a Series X too, so I figured it would be awesome to finally get that 120Hz, especially when I play Overwatch. Thanks so much again!

    I'm planning to get myself a PS5 but god knows when I'm gonna be able to purchase one (hard to buy in my country). In the meantime I am thinking about buying a TV first, is really 85k a good investment?

    • @NoahBest
      @NoahBest  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I believe it is a good investment depending on the price where you live. For me here in Canada it was a good deal compared to and lg oled for example. Which is about a thousand more here. Depending where you are and the prices where you live if it’s a good deal then yes 100%

    120HZ at 4K does not really happen though with any AAA games on the PS5 wit this TV. When you turn up the settings in the games like The Last of Us 1, the newer redone version, and click on quality over frame rate, it is clearly stuck at around 30-40 FPS. Now if you turn the settings down and make sure the TV has the proper settings, you get a lesser picture that has amazing frame rates, but it is not full 4K at high end settings. HOWEVER, the next gen consoles (ps5 pro or PS6) for the TV should be even more amazing. I DO love this TV though, it is amazing.

    • @NoahBest
      @NoahBest  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, you are correct, however i agree the tv itself is amazing!

    • @SamA-kl6pi
      @SamA-kl6pi ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I disagree, when I sent the settings in the tv hdmi, the console and the game it’s much faster than 40 fps. You gotta change your settings

    • @EverythingIsMahogany

      Depends on the game bro. Last of us wasn’t a original ps5 game, but it’s only a few games running at 120 right now. I feel by next year it will be many more

It's got poor sound quality Sony used to be well known for there good sound quality. How do you think this is good value for £800?
