It became really overused in this film. They even cut a scene of Owen using the hand signal to the Indoraptor because it was dumb.
@@juliancaraveo5700 Not really, Chris Pratt himself actually answered that he chose to do it a lot. He said that it was for realism bcs he felt that Owen would've gotten used to doing it with the Paras a lot on his ranch, + all the years he spent where he did it Raptors.
And tbf it makes sense, spending years of your life doing that when a dinosaur poses as a threat probably makes it a natural response to seeing a threat.

I have seen so many people bring this up. I just see it as him being desperate and he knows he isn't looking threatening or scared.
I mean from a realistic standpoint we are told to never turn our back on predators or run. Depending on the animal we need to look as non threatening as possible and back away slowly. Which is what he does. Perfectly believable in my opinion. Rather than him turning and running and getting away. In real life thats a good way to get yourself killed. Just my take on it ☺

The fact is had he turned and ran people will also complain because then he just has more plot armor 🤷♂️Instead of thinking rationally they look for a reason to hate when there really is none. He did what any smart human being who knows something about predator behavior would do in that situation.

Fun fact:Demon Carno,baby Allosaurus,Demon Allosaurus,baby Baryonyx,baby Carno,Stygimoloch,Microceratus,Dimorphodon,Atrociraptor and Compy are all the Dinosaurs we see in the Malta part of the movie as far as I can remember there mite be a few more.
I find it amusing that Instead of fighting each other the allosaurus and carnotaurus would rather eat a bunch of people.

The two apex predators probably avoided fighting for two reasons.
1: They wanted to avoid injuring themselves during the fight.
2: There was so much easy prey around they saw no reason to fight each other.

The fight choreography of Pratt defending himself from a knife wielding attacker actually isn’t all that unrealistic. Props there.
Fun fact: if you were to rig Michael Crichton's coffin on dynamo shaft and then have this scene playing on repeat then the amount of spinning Michael Crichton would be doing would generate more energy than the entire 3 Gorges Dam...

I have nothing negative against JW except some redesigns but I still found them entertaining, but I feel that it’s not as dark as the original JP trilogy which is one reason I prefer JP, but I admit adding more species to the roster wasn’t a bad idea
