MARCEE Indoor Funfly NSC Sports Dome 011823

MARCEE was the only Twin Cities Radio Control Club that had flying privileges in the Hubert H Humphrey Metrodome and flew there for almost ten years before it was torn down to make way for the Vikings TCF Stadium complex in 2013. Many RC flyers in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area flew in the Metrodome and would like to fly at an indoor venue like “the old dome”, but until now none have been available.
This video documents the first MARCEE fun fly at the M Health Sports Dome at the National Sports Center in Blaine, Mn on January 18th, 2023. This very large inflatable sports dome has the equivalent area of four golf domes and is larger than the usable area at the Metrodome, although not as high. This was a lot of fun for those who participated. There are two more events scheduled for:
January 27th, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
February 17th, 2023 from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM
