It starts with George in his first of two concerts in Chicago. He was phenomenal! It’s such a shame he never toured the US again because the friggin critics were merciless. George was having problems with his voice. November 30, 1974. I sat first row center with all my friends!
I saw this tour at the Boston Gardens. If George had a bad voice I didn't care. He was a Beatle! Many of us hid away in the storerooms around the stadium. So saw the concert twice!
Everything I hear and see from these concerts are quite different from what many of the critics said. I see and hear excited fans and everybody happy. I see huge crowds cheering.
I was at the Nassau coliseum evening show- December 15 at 7:30pm. It was great! His voice was a little hoarse but the energy coming from him and the band was incredible! Ravi was sick so he did not perform, but even the Indian section was a nice. I used it to go to the rest room. I have the soundboard recordings from the 2 shows at the Nassau Coliseum and it sounds great! For George Harrison fans it was a wonderful time. For Beatle fans they probably wanted what Wings over America was like. Either way, I think it was great!
