Here’s a creepy story ; My grandma past just before I was born so she never met me or my brother , when my brother was 3/4 he complained he kept seeing an short old lady at the bedroom door , when I was the same age I clearly remember an old lady comforting me at night , my grandma was a short old lady...who came to meet us ❤️😭

Abby G I have a brother who’s 8 years older than me. A few years before my brother was born my 16 year old cousin died let’s call him Timmy. Anyways, when my brother was 4 he was at my aunts house in the back room with no one, and all the adults were hearing him talking my aunt went back there and found him with a picture book and she asked him what he was doing and he said, “Timmy’s reading of me.” He never met him, didn’t know who he was.
I also had my tonsils removed. I woke up around 2am to someone caressing my hair and I thought it was morning and it was my mom. My mom had to stay with my younger sibling at night so I stayed alone at the hospitals during night times. I didn't even open my eyes when I felt the hand on my hair, until IT SLAPPED ME! like a open handed slap on my whole face rather than my cheek! And when i opened my eyes and sat up, there was no one around. Not even any nurses or doctors. Scariest moment of my life, and when i told my mom she said I was dreaming. And no, I wasn't, because when I sat up, I could feel my face burning

Im 13 and last year i experienced something that haunts me till this day. One night i was sleeping in my bed and around about 3am i woke up to a noise which sounded like a wooden peice of furniture creeking. I laid there with my eyes closed. When i finally had the courage to open my eyes i saw my grandma sitting on the wooden rocking chair on the other side of my room. I only realised it was her because of the faint amount of light from the slightly open door . I quickly closed my eyes and silently started crying in terror. A couple of minutes later i had the strength to open my eyes again. She was gone. The thing is my grandma passed away a year ago.
That must have been terrifying but stories like that comfort me in a way, when I think about death - other people dying. It shows that their life has ended but their spirit has not x

When I was about 10 I was home alone sometime in the middle of the night. I went to go have a shower and when I was in the shower I heard two voices coming from the living room that obviously weren’t my parents’ voices. It was a man and a woman talking. I got out of the shower and snuck into my parents room where my dog was. I’m an only child so I had no siblings to alert. From my parents’ room I could see the living room and carefully I peeked out and... It was the tv 🤦♀️

I also hear my name being said like that when no one I know is around often, even when I'm home alone. When I'm home alone it sounds like my mother calling me, when I'm out it sounds like a random voice idk. I realise that obviously I'm imagining it but it's still weird.

My friend told me a story about her seeing a ghost when she was little. Her and her mom were at a hotel. I think she said they were on the 13 floor. As they were walking in the hallway, my friend stopped and looked at a corner and told her mom there was a lady flying. Her mom looked and told her nothing was there. My friend said there was and pointed to the corner. Her mom said show me what her face looked like, so my friend made a face that looked like a girl who hung herself. Her mom quickly grabbed my friend and got out of the hotel. Months later, they went back to see if the ghost was still there. My friend's mom asked my friend if she was there or not. Guess what? My friend said she was. Then they got out and went back to their house. My friend woke up at night(she didn't know what time it was) and saw the girl who hung herself where her art desk was in her room(across her bed). But when I asked her if she was still there today, she said no thankfully
Back when I was in high school in the late 60's one of our friends came to school with a chilling story. We lived in an area that a lot of people considered fairly safe, but the one Sunday morning it proved that no place is totally safe. My friend lived in a house with her two siblings and her parents. On Sunday mornings the family would get up around 8 am have breakfast and get ready for Church, but this particular Sunday, my friends little sister had woke up early and sleepily stumbled out of her bedroom on the way to use the toilet, and very nearly ran into a tall largely built man standing in the center of their upstairs hallway holding large shiny kitchen carving knives he had picked up on his way through the house. He had been about to turn the knob on her parents bedroom before he saw her and instead he turned and made a movement in her direction. Thankfully the kid had a huge set of lungs on her and she proceeded to scream at full volume and a couple seconds later her Dad came running out into the hall in time to see the huge guy make a bolt for the stairs and run, half fall down the stairs dropping the knife and exiting through the front door. It was all over before mom and the other two girls entered the hall.
Me and my friend had the same really funny dream once😂 our principal died and his funeral was at the school and the priests were from Hawaii and were wearing silk flowery clothes and were dancing and singing and our principal was getting buried in the school yard😂😂

I remember one time when I was about 11 me and my older sister were home alone while my parents and younger sibling visited my sick nana. We ended up being on our own all night and we stayed downstairs with the dogs to make sure our new dog didn't get spooked by the thunder. It was about 2 am when we stopped watching movies and decided it was time to sleep. About half an hour later I heard a tap on the kitchen window but both dogs were in the same room as us so I got a little freaked out, I woke my sister up after about 10 minuets of not being able to move and she said it was probably nothing and I probably had a bad dream and my sleep paralysis kicked in but my gut was telling me otherwise. I couldn't sleep for about another hour as I was too paranoid. We left the back door unlocked that night as the lock was a bit dodgy and neither of us could get the door locked. At around 4am I thought I heard the door open but I could see the door from where I was laid down with the smaller dog next to me. After about 5 minutes the bigger dog started barking which was very u usual for her as she is a quiet and shy dog. So we knew somethi g was wrong. We managed to get her to be quiet and then we listened for footsteps and heard nothing. Finally we went to sleep but the next morning I saw something that still terrifies me to this day. There were three huge scratches down my leg and when I realises it couldn't have been the dogs that did that my face went a death pale as my sister described it. I knew it couldn't be the dogs because I remember us clipping a filing down their claws just the day before so they were not even close to bei g sharp enough to give me cuts that deep on my leg. I'm now 15 and I am still cautious when sleeping downstairs. I now know to never ignore my dog when she is barking at night.
This is my story When I was 6-7 years old I stole a kitten from our locality and brought it home I loved it and at night it would come to my bed try to get into my blanket and walk all over my legs until it fell asleep after it died I would really miss him and I remember so many nights getting up and looking for my dead cat because it felt like my cat was walking on my legs and it fell asleep as a kid I never really thought it was creepy but now it runs shivers down my spine
When I was six turning seven my parents split up for a year. My mum went to my nan’s house and me and my siblings all stayed with my dad at our family home. My nan had the creepiest home. It had a weird basement type thing that contained a playroom, a laundry room, a bathroom, a bedroom and a storage room. This may sound cliche but she lived right in front of a very dark forest. In the day time I loved going onto her weird balcony thing and look over at the view sometimes i would go explore it with my siblings. At night it was so creepy, I swear I would see animals and maybe even humans run around at night. One night my nan had a guest staying over, she also had my sister and I staying. This was during the period that my parents split up for a year. My mum stayed in the guest room and my nans friends stayed in the kids room so my sister and I had to stay in the room downstairs. My nan’s front door was upstairs, so it was basically a basement. My sister and I were sitting up on our phones. Thing we were all edgy with our iPods. We were playing games and all was going well, until...my sister and I heard clicking sounds coming from the “basement” door, my sister and I had no clue what to do, we were just feeling lucky that my sister is paranoid so she locked the door that leads to the stairs that also leads to the main hallway. My sister gathered up the courage to go lock the bedroom door and we hid in the closet. Then we heard noises coming from the forest, then it sounded like someone was trying to unlatch the window, in so happy the curtains were closed because that gave me enough courage to get to the phone, my nan kept a phone that you could call on in every room. I go up, grabbed the home phone, ran into the closet and called 000 (which is the Australian police number.) when they came they found 2 men, they came just in time because they found one standing over my mum with a knife, if they had of been even 10 seconds late she would be dead. They found the other outside trying to get trough the window of the bedroom my sister and I were staying in. I will never forget their faces. Also people who read my comments must be wondering why I have so many stories, it’s because I don’t share my own experiences I share my friends and families.

Here's my story Well my backyard's door has two doors over each other, like one on the inside is glass and then the outside is just a net. The glass door was opened and the net door was closed when I was watching TV with my mum, then I went to brush my teeth, meanwhile my mum turned of the TV and got ready for bed in the bedroom. Then something weird happened. I got out of the bathroom and saw that my glass door was closed, so I asked my mum "Mum, since you closed the door, why did you also close the blind?" Then she said "I didn't close the door though" I wasn't freaked out because my mum had a pretty bad memory. Like sometimes she would say something or do something and 5 sec later she would totally forget. I was still a little bit freaked out. A day later, that same thing happened... I asked her the same question, and she answered with the same answer, I knew it wasn't my brother because his bedroom wasn't near the backyard, plus he can not be bothered, like I wouldn't get why he would do that. This time it actually freaked me out. Then it stopped happening. Well that was my creepy experience

This is my story, Sometimes I get dreams about me running and escaping from something, I'm not really sure. But every time I dream I always end up falling from mountains, holes and some other stuff, and when I'm falling, I hit the floor in my dream, when I hit it, I lost my dream and I get half sleeping and half awake, and I move like I shaked my body, like a regular movement when you fall, but I didn't shaked it on purpose , like as soon as I was falling in my dream I ended up lading on real life, and then I wake up, think about what happened and go back to sleep. When I was younger, I was just chilling in my bedroom one night. Then I heard laughing. It was two girls and it sounded like it was coming from outside my window. My kid imagination went wild and I thought they were going to break in or something. I finally worked up the courage and peeked out the window. Nothing. Then I realized something. The voices sounded familiar. It was just my sisters, and the voice was carrying through the air vents 🙈
Once when I was younger, maybe 6 or 7, I heard a man’s voice coming from my family’s living room that sounded like my father. I left my room to go see him as I thought he may have come home from work. When I get into the living room, no one was there and the TV was off.
I live on a farm, and when I was about 7 I had all 4 of my dogs in my bedroom at about 2 in the morning. I woke up to my dogs growling at my open window ( my window is nailed shut due to it always flying open ) I got a bit scared, but because I’m used to the dark and growling dogs I checked it out. I saw a figure standing there with no face or hands. The faceless figure then tried to grab me and pull me through the window, my dogs all barked so loudly and snapped at the figure. I screamed for my parents and then I woke up in my bed. The window was wide open and my dogs were sitting by the window staring out of it. I forgot about it until two years or so later. I was still sleeping in that bedroom, and the same thing happened again. But this time I couldn’t get out of my bed, there were loads of faceless and handless people crawling through my open window and they kept grabbing at me. I woke up in morning covered in bruises. But the bruises had gone before my parents could see them. After that I changed rooms ( I was sleeping downstairs away from everyone) and now I’m sleeping upstairs, a week after I changed rooms I could hear scraping and tapping on the tiles and the big window. The scrapings and tapping starts at 12 and ends at 4, the dogs aren’t allowed upstairs so I’m in a room by myself. The noises have happened every night for 4 or 5 years now. I haven’t slept properly because I’m afraid of what I’ll dream about. Please help! I’m so scared of the faceless people

I used to have sleep paralysis for a couple days back, weird dreams/ lost in them. When I woke up I could see my room but I could barely open my eyes, lay there for a bit until I became un-paralyzed and could move again...😬😨 very spooky. Edit: Sleep paralysis can be caused by stress and lack of sleep.
When I was a kid I always loved renting movies from blockbuster (this was about 2009.) I was very into movies from other countries, primarily Japan. There was this DVD that caught my eye which was about Japanese urban legends but reenacted. The one that stuck with me the most was about a skylight. These 2 middle school girls have a sleepover home alone but they don't realize that something has been lurking around the house all night. When they go to sleep, they lay on the floor in futons under the skylight in one of the rooms upstairs. One of the girls keeps hearing noises coming from the roof and stares out of the skylight for a while. She then sees a pale woman slowly peek out of the skylight and smile at her before moving out of sight. It then cuts to a few hours later and the other girl wakes up because she now hears the noise from the roof. She tries waking up the first girl but there's no response. She turns on the light and sees that her friend has black sockets for eyes and her mouth is wide open in a screaming position. The girl looks up and sees the same woman and it ends. I thought the skylight story from this video would have something similar to this with the person seeing something creepy but it instantly reminded me of this which I haven't thought about in years. Ghosts from Japan are terrifying..
One time I was home alone and I heard my cabinets start slamming, but I was home alone and nobody left any TVs on. I heard the cabinets in the kitchen, and I’d have to go by the kitchen to get to the only phone in the house, so basically I was trapped. I was seriously completely sure I was about to be murdered by an intruder, scariest moment of my life. I hid in a closet and cried with a sharpened pencil until I got a burst of dumb and went to attack the intruder. I slammed the door open and the sounds stopped. Everything was locked, no way for anyone to break in, no signs of a break in, there was not enough time between the last slam and my door opening for someone to escape and lock the door behind them. So uh,, who (or what) the fuck was in my house??

My dad told me this one- Once he was telling my brother to go to sleep at like 3am and he passed by my room and saw me sitting straight up in bed with my eyes wide open, I looked him directly in the eyes and said “Bonnie won’t wake up” over and over, keep in mind I don’t know any bonnies. He just said “go back to sleep” and still looking him in the eyes I just said okay and went back to sleep. My brother was awake through this and he told me the same thing. Best thing is, I have no memory of this ever happening and I’ve only heard this story through my dad and brother. So now we have an inside joke of “Bonnie won’t wake up” and we’re all convinced Bonnie is a ghost that lives in my room
My mum's true story from her childhood house: "The picture was always on the wall just a picture of an old barn and pond, but one day a boy appeared in it and that same boy was staying over at mum's house...When they went to bed, they both heard someone coming up the stairs (you could always hear when ppl were coming up them because they were wooden and they were very creaky) but everyone was fast asleep, My mum claimed that it was always a woman and not men when they heard it and it would come into my mum's room and stand there just watching them...The next morning the boy went home and when he did..the boy disappeared from the picture. Mum thought it was just her siblings joking around (She has 9 siblings and she is the youngest) but it happened every night and she had sleep paralysis at that time aswell..But one night was different, she said that there was a man that time and it crawled into the bed but she rolled out of the other side of the bed and ran into her mum's room but when they moved out, it never happened again...(If you don't know what sleep paralysis is, it is a demon that apparently climbes onto your chest..it makes you that scared you can't move or speak, you can only skweak and it makes you think that it can hurt you but it cant...)
When I was about 9 or 10 I was laying in my bed watching ghost stories, and all of a sudden my door slammed shut, (no windows were open) my parents had played tricks on me earlier so I thought it was them, I went to open the door to look for them but my door was locked (my bedroom door doesn’t have a lock on it) I thought it was jammed until I got it open. I looked around and nobody was in the house, I went to my garage and my parents were in there with friends over, I asked them if they went in the house and they told me they never left the garage. I remember it clearly to this day

So ran up stairs and went into my bed room I turned around to see two white eyes I called the cops but they said that nobody was there.... Now I live with a dog so I’ll know if a person is there...
The thing of the 8 year-old sleeping peacefully and waking up out of the blue ... I kinda had it one day. But I woke up to my mother calling me, but not just "Ana" (that is my name), it was like "Ana, Ana! Ana, come here, I'm in the kitchen. Ana!" As soon as I called for my mom, she stopped. I kinda thought "welp, maybe she didn't hear me, let's go talk to her", then I went to the kitchen. Aaand there was no one in there. And then I went searching every room in the house, until I went to my parents room and saw my mother, sleeping peacefully in her bed, along with my father. I thought, "oh well, maybe she went back to sleep because I didn't answer her", and I went back to my bed, and slept. Next day, asked my mother why did she called me at the middle of the night, and she said she never did such thing, that she slept through the whole night. A memory I have is that I went to the kitchen door, that lead outside - and it was made of glass -, and just... stared. I didn't see anything tho. Don't remember seeing anything. But it got my attention somehow, I don't even know why was I so focused on the outside. It was dark, I remember it, pretty dark, almost pitch black. In a neighbor's wall, I could see the street light, a little glim of light in the dark. I don't understand how I went back to sleep so nicely, like, "Ok then, I heard my mother, she wasn't there, so I'll go back to sleep", and I don't understand why was I staring at nothing in the dark. WHY WOULD I DO THAT. Now I'm scared of looking through windows at night

So since it was 3am I was like, "maybe im just imagining since in tired, plus Im alone". So later I heard foot steps near me. So I got scared. I kept hearing weird noises so I decided to go to sleep.

Here's my theory for the story with "Tim": Tim is adopted and the lady who came to his house was actually his biological mother, that would also explain why she wouldn't know his last name because it would have changed. I still don't know how she would have gotten the address though.

I've had sleep paralysis 3-4 times throughout the past 18 years of my life, and it really is so damn scary. Everything feels so real too, both physical and emotional aspects of the dream. I remember waking up from one and being on the verge of crying, it's too scary. I feel really bad for those who get it often :((

I remember when I was cleaning out my room ( lights were turned off, nighttime ) I took out my Nintendo switch case and it was closed. I throw something on top of it and I hear a zip. My Nintendo switch case was open. Still never go in my bedroom and probably never will if someone’s not with me and ever since that day my room has been colder even with the fan off. I'm 13 years old and I have many spooky stories believe it or not. One that creeps me out the most though happened when I was 9. I was sleeping in my basement (yes i sleep in a basement) and I wake up around 3 am or something to my guardian yelling my name. My real dad died when I was 3 years old and that's a story for another day. I wake up to him yelling my name so I go upstairs to see what he wants. I didn't know it was dark until I got upstairs. I started getting a bad feeling and grabbed a metal fence pole we have in our house(don't question it) and looked around our house but found nothing. The next night the same thing happened. I went back upstairs and again, found nothing. When I was about to go back downstairs I heard a loud "thud" in our attic. I went outside cause that was the only way to get inside the attic. When I climbed to the front of the attic door I saw a disfigured blackened shape with red eyes and it started running towards me once it saw me. I woke up on my bed in the basement. Once I realized I was awake, I ran upstairs and ask my guardian to check the attic. The scariest part about this is when we opened the attic and went inside, all we found was creepy ass writing saying "Sorry" by the painting of my dead grandfather. I still am freaked the fuck out by that experience and never what to go in the attic again. Reply and like this if you have had a creepy ass experience.
My lil bro was always scared of my room.. I once bring him to my room to play.. He agrees but when he was about to enter my room.. He shivers a lot.. When we sit down on the floor.. He was staring under my bed.. But I just told him that it's just his imaginations.. One day when my mom calls me for a moment.. I leave my bro alone in my room.. After a minute later.. He cried a lot.. And one day when I was searching for my phone.. I finally looked under the bed.. And saw a very skinny looking girl with her hair covering her bloody face.. I screamed and ran to my parent's room.. They called the police.. And we finally got a clue about the girl under my bed was the girl who died in the house because of suicide and she stayed in the house with her parents.. Her mother was under the basement.. And her dad was in the attic.. They take suicide because they had mental breakdown.. Because her brother died in a car accident.. I've never slept in that room since ..After a month.. We moved to an another house.. But we can still see them.. We called someone that can kill ghost.. But the person said that the ghost were connected to us.. If they lost us.. Then they will haunt us for the rest of their lives.. No wonder why my brother was scared of my room.. Because one day when he sleeps there with me..He can felt another hand under the bed and he can always hear someone breathing.. Under the bed..
My scariest(ish) 3 am story is that, when I was 11 or 12, I woke up in the middle of the night to the fire alarm going off. Every single one in the house. I should of been freaked out, but instead, I lifted my head, looked around, and went back to sleep. What actually freaked me out was when my brothers came in to turn the alarm off. Also, when I was 8 or 9, we had a dog that was seriously freaky. If you left your curtains open, then you would wake up in the middle of the night and he would just be staring down at you through the window. (We had a basement and he would look through the window wells) To this day, even thoughs he's long gone, I always get a little freaked out if there is something moving outside my window lol.

I also had my tonsils removed. I woke up around 2am to someone caressing my hair and I thought it was morning and it was my mom. My mom had to stay with my younger sibling at night so I stayed alone at the hospitals during night times. Im 13 and last year i experienced something that haunts me till this day. One night i was sleeping in my bed and around about 3am i woke up to a noise which sounded like a wooden peice of furniture creeking. I laid there with my eyes closed. When i finally had the courage to open my eyes i saw my grandma sitting on the wooden rocking chair on the other side of my room. I only realised it was her because of the faint amount of light from the slightly open door . I quickly closed my eyes and silently started crying in terror. A couple of minutes later i had the strength to open my eyes again. She was gone. The thing is my grandma passed away a year ago.

My friend told me a story about her seeing a ghost when she was little. Her and her mom were at a hotel. I think she said they were on the 13 floor. As they were walking in the hallway, my friend stopped and looked at a corner and told her mom there was a lady flying. Her mom looked and told her nothing was there. My friend said there was and pointed to the corner. Her mom said show me what her face looked like, so my friend made a face that looked like a girl who hung herself. Her mom quickly grabbed my friend and got out of the hotel. Months later, they went back to see if the ghost was still there. My friend's mom asked my friend if she was there or not. Guess what? My friend said she was. Then they got out and went back to their house. My friend woke up at night(she didn't know what time it was) and saw the girl who hung herself where her art desk was in her room(across her bed). But when I asked her if she was still there today, she said no thankfully

Back when I was in high school in the late 60's one of our friends came to school with a chilling story. We lived in an area that a lot of people considered fairly safe, but the one Sunday morning it proved that no place is totally safe. My friend lived in a house with her two siblings and her parents. On Sunday mornings the family would get up around 8 am have breakfast and get ready for Church, but this particular Sunday, my friends little sister had woke up early and sleepily stumbled out of her bedroom on the way to use the toilet, and very nearly ran into a tall largely built man standing in the center of their upstairs hallway holding large shiny kitchen carving knives he had picked up on his way through the house. He had been about to turn the knob on her parents bedroom before he saw her and instead he turned and made a movement in her direction. Thankfully the kid had a huge set of lungs on her and she proceeded to scream at full volume and a couple seconds later her Dad came running out into the hall in time to see the huge guy make a bolt for the stairs and run, half fall down the stairs dropping the knife and exiting through the front door. It was all over before mom and the other two girls entered the hall.

I remember one time when I was about 11 me and my older sister were home alone while my parents and younger sibling visited my sick nana. We ended up being on our own all night and we stayed downstairs with the dogs to make sure our new dog didn't get spooked by the thunder. It was about 2 am when we stopped watching movies and decided it was time to sleep. About half an hour later I heard a tap on the kitchen window but both dogs were in the same room as us so I got a little freaked out, I woke my sister up after about 10 minuets of not being able to move and she said it was probably nothing and I probably had a bad dream and my sleep paralysis kicked in but my gut was telling me otherwise. I couldn't sleep for about another hour as I was too paranoid. We left the back door unlocked that night as the lock was a bit dodgy and neither of us could get the door locked. At around 4am I thought I heard the door open but I could see the door from where I was laid down with the smaller dog next to me. After about 5 minutes the bigger dog started barking which was very u usual for her as she is a quiet and shy dog. So we knew somethi g was wrong. We managed to get her to be quiet and then we listened for footsteps and heard nothing. Finally we went to sleep but the next morning I saw something that still terrifies me to this day. There were three huge scratches down my leg and when I realises it couldn't have been the dogs that did that my face went a death pale as my sister described it. I knew it couldn't be the dogs because I remember us clipping a filing down their claws just the day before so they were not even close to bei g sharp enough to give me cuts that deep on my leg. I'm now 15 and I am still cautious when sleeping downstairs. I now know to never ignore my dog when she is barking at night.
This is my story
When I was 6-7 years old I stole a kitten from our locality and brought it home I loved it and at night it would come to my bed try to get into my blanket and walk all over my legs until it fell asleep after it died I would really miss him and I remember so many nights getting up and looking for my dead cat because it felt like my cat was walking on my legs and it fell asleep as a kid I never really thought it was creepy but now it runs shivers down my spine

When I was six turning seven my parents split up for a year. My mum went to my nan’s house and me and my siblings all stayed with my dad at our family home. My nan had the creepiest home. It had a weird basement type thing that contained a playroom, a laundry room, a bathroom, a bedroom and a storage room. This may sound cliche but she lived right in front of a very dark forest. In the day time I loved going onto her weird balcony thing and look over at the view sometimes i would go explore it with my siblings. At night it was so creepy, I swear I would see animals and maybe even humans run around at night. One night my nan had a guest staying over, she also had my sister and I staying. This was during the period that my parents split up for a year. My mum stayed in the guest room and my nans friends stayed in the kids room so my sister and I had to stay in the room downstairs. My nan’s front door was upstairs, so it was basically a basement. My sister and I were sitting up on our phones. Thing we were all edgy with our iPods. We were playing games and all was going well, until...my sister and I heard clicking sounds coming from the “basement” door, my sister and I had no clue what to do, we were just feeling lucky that my sister is paranoid so she locked the door that leads to the stairs that also leads to the main hallway. My sister gathered up the courage to go lock the bedroom door and we hid in the closet. Then we heard noises coming from the forest, then it sounded like someone was trying to unlatch the window, in so happy the curtains were closed because that gave me enough courage to get to the phone, my nan kept a phone that you could call on in every room. I go up, grabbed the home phone, ran into the closet and called 000 (which is the Australian police number.) when they came they found 2 men, they came just in time because they found one standing over my mum with a knife, if they had of been even 10 seconds late she would be dead. They found the other outside trying to get trough the window of the bedroom my sister and I were staying in. I will never forget their faces.

Here's my story
Well my backyard's door has two doors over each other, like one on the inside is glass and then the outside is just a net. The glass door was opened and the net door was closed when I was watching TV with my mum, then I went to brush my teeth, meanwhile my mum turned of the TV and got ready for bed in the bedroom. Then something weird happened. I got out of the bathroom and saw that my glass door was closed, so I asked my mum "Mum, since you closed the door, why did you also close the blind?" Then she said "I didn't close the door though" I wasn't freaked out because my mum had a pretty bad memory. Like sometimes she would say something or do something and 5 sec later she would totally forget. I was still a little bit freaked out.
A day later, that same thing happened... I asked her the same question, and she answered with the same answer, I knew it wasn't my brother because his bedroom wasn't near the backyard, plus he can not be bothered, like I wouldn't get why he would do that. This time it actually freaked me out. Then it stopped happening. Well that was my creepy experience

Sometimes I get dreams about me running and escaping from something, I'm not really sure. But every time I dream I always end up falling from mountains, holes and some other stuff, and when I'm falling, I hit the floor in my dream, when I hit it, I lost my dream and I get half sleeping and half awake, and I move like I shaked my body, like a regular movement when you fall, but I didn't shaked it on purpose , like as soon as I was falling in my dream I ended up lading on real life, and then I wake up, think about what happened and go back to sleep. I live on a farm, and when I was about 7 I had all 4 of my dogs in my bedroom at about 2 in the morning. I woke up to my dogs growling at my open window ( my window is nailed shut due to it always flying open ) I got a bit scared, but because I’m used to the dark and growling dogs I checked it out. I saw a figure standing there with no face or hands. The faceless figure then tried to grab me and pull me through the window, my dogs all barked so loudly and snapped at the figure. I screamed for my parents and then I woke up in my bed. The window was wide open and my dogs were sitting by the window staring out of it.
I forgot about it until two years or so later. I was still sleeping in that bedroom, and the same thing happened again. But this time I couldn’t get out of my bed, there were loads of faceless and handless people crawling through my open window and they kept grabbing at me. I woke up in morning covered in bruises. But the bruises had gone before my parents could see them.
After that I changed rooms ( I was sleeping downstairs away from everyone) and now I’m sleeping upstairs, a week after I changed rooms I could hear scraping and tapping on the tiles and the big window. The scrapings and tapping starts at 12 and ends at 4, the dogs aren’t allowed upstairs so I’m in a room by myself. The noises have happened every night for 4 or 5 years now. I haven’t slept properly because I’m afraid of what I’ll dream about. Please help! I’m so scared of the faceless people

I have, one night I had a dream, at like 7 in the morning, I was being lifted from the bed. I blinked and woke up realizing it was just a dream. That same morning I overheard my brother telling our father about his dream which was being lifted from the couch he was sleeping on
I used to have sleep paralysis for a couple days back, weird dreams/ lost in them. When I woke up I could see my room but I could barely open my eyes, lay there for a bit until I became un-paralyzed and could move again...😬😨 very spooky.

When I was a kid I always loved renting movies from blockbuster (this was about 2009.) I was very into movies from other countries, primarily Japan. There was this DVD that caught my eye which was about Japanese urban legends but reenacted. The one that stuck with me the most was about a skylight. These 2 middle school girls have a sleepover home alone but they don't realize that something has been lurking around the house all night. When they go to sleep, they lay on the floor in futons under the skylight in one of the rooms upstairs. One of the girls keeps hearing noises coming from the roof and stares out of the skylight for a while. She then sees a pale woman slowly peek out of the skylight and smile at her before moving out of sight. It then cuts to a few hours later and the other girl wakes up because she now hears the noise from the roof. She tries waking up the first girl but there's no response. She turns on the light and sees that her friend has black sockets for eyes and her mouth is wide open in a screaming position. The girl looks up and sees the same woman and it ends. I thought the skylight story from this video would have something similar to this with the person seeing something creepy but it instantly reminded me of this which I haven't thought about in years. Ghosts from Japan are terrifying..
One time I was home alone and I heard my cabinets start slamming, but I was home alone and nobody left any TVs on.
I heard the cabinets in the kitchen, and I’d have to go by the kitchen to get to the only phone in the house, so basically I was trapped.
I was seriously completely sure I was about to be murdered by an intruder, scariest moment of my life.
I hid in a closet and cried with a sharpened pencil until I got a burst of dumb and went to attack the intruder. I slammed the door open and the sounds stopped. Everything was locked, no way for anyone to break in, no signs of a break in, there was not enough time between the last slam and my door opening for someone to escape and lock the door behind them.
So uh,, who (or what) the fuck was in my house??

Once he was telling my brother to go to sleep at like 3am and he passed by my room and saw me sitting straight up in bed with my eyes wide open, I looked him directly in the eyes and said “Bonnie won’t wake up” over and over, keep in mind I don’t know any bonnies. He just said “go back to sleep” and still looking him in the eyes I just said okay and went back to sleep. My brother was awake through this and he told me the same thing. Best thing is, I have no memory of this ever happening and I’ve only heard this story through my dad and brother. So now we have an inside joke of “Bonnie won’t wake up” and we’re all convinced Bonnie is a ghost that lives in my room
My mum's true story from her childhood house:
"The picture was always on the wall just a picture of an old barn and pond, but one day a boy appeared in it and that same boy was staying over at mum's house...When they went to bed, they both heard someone coming up the stairs (you could always hear when ppl were coming up them because they were wooden and they were very creaky) but everyone was fast asleep, My mum claimed that it was always a woman and not men when they heard it and it would come into my mum's room and stand there just watching them...The next morning the boy went home and when he did..the boy disappeared from the picture. Mum thought it was just her siblings joking around (She has 9 siblings and she is the youngest) but it happened every night and she had sleep paralysis at that time aswell..But one night was different, she said that there was a man that time and it crawled into the bed but she rolled out of the other side of the bed and ran into her mum's room but when they moved out, it never happened again...(If you don't know what sleep paralysis is, it is a demon that apparently climbes onto your chest..it makes you that scared you can't move or speak, you can only skweak and it makes you think that it can hurt you but it cant...)

When I was about 9 or 10 I was laying in my bed watching ghost stories, and all of a sudden my door slammed shut, (no windows were open) my parents had played tricks on me earlier so I thought it was them, I went to open the door to look for them but my door was locked (my bedroom door doesn’t have a lock on it) I thought it was jammed until I got it open. I looked around and nobody was in the house, I went to my garage and my parents were in there with friends over, I asked them if they went in the house and they told me they never left the garage. I remember it clearly to this day

At 2:30 I watched a horror movie for fun alone after it was done a painting of a well on my wall fell. So ran up stairs and went into my bed room I turned around to see two white eyes I called the cops but they said that nobody was there....
Now I live with a dog so I’ll know if a person is there...

The thing of the 8 year-old sleeping peacefully and waking up out of the blue
... I kinda had it one day. But I woke up to my mother calling me, but not just "Ana" (that is my name), it was like "Ana, Ana! Ana, come here, I'm in the kitchen. Ana!"
As soon as I called for my mom, she stopped. I kinda thought "welp, maybe she didn't hear me, let's go talk to her", then I went to the kitchen. Aaand there was no one in there. And then I went searching every room in the house, until I went to my parents room and saw my mother, sleeping peacefully in her bed, along with my father. I thought, "oh well, maybe she went back to sleep because I didn't answer her", and I went back to my bed, and slept. Next day, asked my mother why did she called me at the middle of the night, and she said she never did such thing, that she slept through the whole night.
A memory I have is that I went to the kitchen door, that lead outside - and it was made of glass -, and just... stared. I didn't see anything tho. Don't remember seeing anything. But it got my attention somehow, I don't even know why was I so focused on the outside. It was dark, I remember it, pretty dark, almost pitch black. In a neighbor's wall, I could see the street light, a little glim of light in the dark.
I don't understand how I went back to sleep so nicely, like, "Ok then, I heard my mother, she wasn't there, so I'll go back to sleep", and I don't understand why was I staring at nothing in the dark. WHY WOULD I DO THAT. Now I'm scared of looking through windows at night
It was 3am at night. My mom was sleeping in her room. I was only only 8 at the time. So yeah it was 3am and I was ALONE and I was just watching TV. There was nobody with me I didnt have any siblings at the time or any pets. Then I felt the couch crumble on the opposite side of the couch. So since it was 3am I was like, "maybe im just imagining since in tired, plus Im alone". So later I heard foot steps near me. So I got scared. I kept hearing weird noises so I decided to go to sleep.

I've had sleep paralysis 3-4 times throughout the past 18 years of my life, and it really is so damn scary. Everything feels so real too, both physical and emotional aspects of the dream. I remember waking up from one and being on the verge of crying, it's too scary. I feel really bad for those who get it often :((

I remember when I was cleaning out my room ( lights were turned off, nighttime ) I took out my Nintendo switch case and it was closed. I throw something on top of it and I hear a zip. My Nintendo switch case was open. Still never go in my bedroom and probably never will if someone’s not with me and ever since that day my room has been colder even with the fan off. I'm 13 years old and I have many spooky stories believe it or not. One that creeps me out the most though happened when I was 9. I was sleeping in my basement (yes i sleep in a basement) and I wake up around 3 am or something to my guardian yelling my name. My real dad died when I was 3 years old and that's a story for another day. I wake up to him yelling my name so I go upstairs to see what he wants. I didn't know it was dark until I got upstairs. I started getting a bad feeling and grabbed a metal fence pole we have in our house(don't question it) and looked around our house but found nothing. The next night the same thing happened. I went back upstairs and again, found nothing. When I was about to go back downstairs I heard a loud "thud" in our attic. I went outside cause that was the only way to get inside the attic. When I climbed to the front of the attic door I saw a disfigured blackened shape with red eyes and it started running towards me once it saw me. I woke up on my bed in the basement. Once I realized I was awake, I ran upstairs and ask my guardian to check the attic. The scariest part about this is when we opened the attic and went inside, all we found was creepy ass writing saying "Sorry" by the painting of my dead grandfather. I still am freaked the fuck out by that experience and never what to go in the attic again.

My lil bro was always scared of my room.. I once bring him to my room to play.. He agrees but when he was about to enter my room.. He shivers a lot.. When we sit down on the floor.. He was staring under my bed.. But I just told him that it's just his imaginations.. One day when my mom calls me for a moment.. I leave my bro alone in my room.. After a minute later.. He cried a lot.. And one day when I was searching for my phone.. I finally looked under the bed.. And saw a very skinny looking girl with her hair covering her bloody face.. I screamed and ran to my parent's room.. They called the police.. And we finally got a clue about the girl under my bed was the girl who died in the house because of suicide and she stayed in the house with her parents.. Her mother was under the basement.. And her dad was in the attic.. They take suicide because they had mental breakdown.. Because her brother died in a car accident.. I've never slept in that room since ..After a month.. We moved to an another house.. But we can still see them.. We called someone that can kill ghost.. But the person said that the ghost were connected to us.. If they lost us.. Then they will haunt us for the rest of their lives.. No wonder why my brother was scared of my room.. Because one day when he sleeps there with me..He can felt another hand under the bed and he can always hear someone breathing.. Under the bed..

My scariest(ish) 3 am story is that, when I was 11 or 12, I woke up in the middle of the night to the fire alarm going off. Every single one in the house. I should of been freaked out, but instead, I lifted my head, looked around, and went back to sleep. What actually freaked me out was when my brothers came in to turn the alarm off.
Also, when I was 8 or 9, we had a dog that was seriously freaky. If you left your curtains open, then you would wake up in the middle of the night and he would just be staring down at you through the window. (We had a basement and he would look through the window wells) To this day, even thoughs he's long gone, I always get a little freaked out if there is something moving outside my window lol.

Oh my gosh at band camp over the summer, in the middle of the night, my roommate was below the fire alarm ( I was on the other side of the room. also mind you it was like 1 am) We were just talking about weird stuff that band kids talk about and it does this glitchy thing ( we were both already staring at it because it was the only thing producing light) and we get so scared 😂 kinda like the fire alarm in French
