He shows up 5 mins before they go on the air, leaves and expects everything to fall in line without any understanding of the corporate bullshit the guys behind the scenes deal with. I’m sure Steve was getting harassed by 90 corporate stooges about getting production done, people he has to answer to. One thing about Howard's show (90s Howard) was that when people fought on air you still got the impression that everyone still liked each other off air. Then he said the bosses requested production work for the merger to send to DC. They all work for the stations. He is stuck between trying to fulfill their on air requests and the actual XM management. Derek came in and cold him a liar for saying he requests Steve to remove him from the board then he goes on to repeat exactly what steve said. They all answer to xm management. If Derek doesn't get his production work done then he is at risk of losing his job when mangemnt monitors their work
